"It all started when i lost my mother" is the moment when you hear the emotion really start to pull into Ronnies voice. And that correlates with his life. Ronnies mother was never there for him she was a drug addict and abandoned ronnie and his brother with their dad when they were very young. Then ronnie went down the same path with drugs for a period of time but hes been sober for a long time now.
I lost my mother to a heavy illness when I was 24. That's now 13 years ago, and while listening to this part of the song, it feels like yesterday. It hurts a lot, but it also feels healing in a weird way. I was in a f'ing dark place at this time because my dad threw me out of the house. I was living on the streets after all this, but I'm still here, and my life is good now. I found love and got a good job, yeah. My mom would be proud. To all my sisters and brothers out there still fighting! There will be a sunrise after all this dark sh*t.
The tone of this version of the song has so much gravity. It's heavy, the first one is more angry in your face. This one makes you feel alone and by yourself.
This version with it slowed down and Ronnie's vocals (crying for help) really emphasized the lyrics better than the original. You can feel the pain in the lyrics of this version vs the original that you just jam to. Great reaction and breakdown as usual, you should also check out watch the world born by them it will blow your mind how skilled they are!
Was waiting for this one. I knew that first pause was coming with exactly what you were thinking. I heard the original so many times and the lyrics never came through like they did when I heard FIR version. I had chills and paused in the same spot to reflect. Wow, what a difference the delivery can make. I couldn't believe it was the same lyrics. Had to go back and listen to the original again. So good.
Well this is going to be interestint you did all the FiR reimagined songs. Time to get your socks knocked off and see another dynamic go for watch the world burn. Dive all the way in.
For someone who fell deep in a dark place years ago with crippling anxiety and depression thankfully better now your reaction gave me chills amazing reaction ,Falling in reverse just a league of there own
please keep goin down the falling in reverse journey.. ronnie is a literal musical genius. hes got songs where he raps hes got songs where its more metal, like the guy can do music.. like all of it lol
Papa Roach’s version feels like the teenage angst/rage, like they will threaten to end things. Ronnie's version feels like an adult’s depression, and he’s pleading for help before he ends things. Really puts the raw emotion in the original lyrics that I never noticed.
At the end of the FIR song Watch The World Burn, in the end is shows the World being swallowed in fire. At the end of this video, the Earth is being restored as the flames vanquish and disappear! Everyone's interpretation of this remake truly brings the lyrics and does make you feel like it brings on a whole new meaning. PR's original was very upbeat as you had said and it just grooved so well you didn't really think about the lyrics. This one hits home a whole different feel! Glad you finally got to it!!!
Loved Your reaction, The first time I heard it i was working so it was on in the background, i had to stop working and restart the song because it felt liek someone hit me in the gut. His voice and the way he is portraying the message. So beautiful. I knew exactly what the lyrics were and what they meant when I was a teen when this song came out- it was an outlet song for me and my mental health. Love all versions of this song. You should check out Papa Roach performing this song with Jeris Johnson. Its also really good- more like the original.
Hey there 😅wow isn’t he brilliant! I loved your reaction especially when he hits A- it raises your eyebrows and your face is so intense while listening! Love it 🥰 thank you
I took the end to mean that, someone hadnt necessarily come to help... but the screaming and the crying.... the pleading helped them to vent the pressure and make it through on their own. almost as if the song itself was also a message to people who are in that state of mind that "you'll be fine"...
I’ve never heard the original to this and never actually listened to FIR before now (don’t scold me, neither has been that popular in my family🫣). But all I really wanted to say is that this song is truly AMAZING and that it hits so so SO different (ofc I’ve heard bits of the original). I think I prefer this version though, it is truly a masterpiece 😍
I absolutely loved your reaction and summary, The video would make more sense if you watched "Watch the world burn" beforehand FIR has a tendency of telling a story across their videos. Cant wait to see more of your reactions and hope you deep dive some more FIR!
Definitely more FIR please🙏 Ronnie is an awesome vocalist 🔥💜🔥 They created something out of this world This version is totally different level of epicness 🔥🔥🔥
Ronnie Radke always gets women emotionally invested it’s his voice A- is incredibly powerful and very difficult for any singer and that particular note and Strings and Piano just makes you fully immersed ❤
100% as good as the original, but for so many different and super cool reasons.... Also the Last Resort story came from the life of one of Jacoby Shadix's former roomates... but also echo'd through Jacoby's own life a few years later.
Been on that edge multiple times and tried to cancel myself. The last time was after a very bad breakup. And failed. God wants me to live i guess. I'm gladf i'm still alive. Life's really hard and fucked up but i'm glad to be around still. Anyways. You have very beautiful eyes. Not simping. Please don't hurt me! 😆
Is music not beautiful when realizing a song, especially with powerful lyrics, slowed down, making us listen to every word... now we have our "Oh shit" moment. Papa Roach and Falling in Reverse, it happened for a reason, drop the 🎤.
I saw this as a grown up version of the original. One spoke with a teenage view of the world through the musicality, FIR took it to an adult level of understanding. Phenomenal
Exactly the Papa Roach version is just the anger and it's just pissed off at feeling that way and this one is just desperation crying out pleading. Like this really is his last resort.
There’s a part that you didn’t deal with . And most people don’t, it’s this part, “Searching to find a love upon a higher level Finding nothing but questions and devils” I’ll tell you what he’s talking about. Christianity, that’s the higher level he’s talking about, and he found questions because most Christians are hypocrites, and devils because even Christian pastors are hypocrites and saying one thing yet doing another. Just say it, why is criticizing Christianity forbidden? Fear? Just ask the Christian youth minister that screwed my ex wife when she was a minor… instead of doing what was right, her family was threatened with lawsuits if she filed sexual assault charges against him by his powerful father who was a major minister in my city.
Love both versions and to me….papa roaches version I felt like that as a kid the aggression the not giving a F attitude…falling in reverse version is how I feel as an adult more more understanding of life but you are older wiser controlled emotions…love it..

I've listened to this song hundreds of times, this is the first version were I ever really heard it.

As a happy person you'll hear the lyrics, as a sad person you understand it

Papa Roaches version = Teenage Angst flipping off the world. Falling in Reverse version = The adult pleading for help....

For me, the OG version is someone angry at the world, this version it's someone angry at themself.
I am a huge FIR fan, that's what brought me to you, I loved your reaction! You have a new sub, and I hope to see more FIR

I could really feel the emotions in your eyes! so lovely to see♥
Should win several Grammys hands down!

I've been waiting on this 1. 🥳

The ending is him fixing everything. He broke at the end of Watch the World Burn video for the visuals.
The original version was something I very much related to when it first came out. Lots of anger and those feelings in the song.
You should watch Jacoby from Papa Roach react to it with Ronnie in the studio

So the question is... how long before you dive down the rabbit hole that is Ronnie Radke?
@@offroadkitty6218 🤭😅
@@offroadkitty6218 I’m only listening to the reimagined songs at the moment 😅 Actually doing it right now 😂😝

The OG version seemed like a angry teenage bop lol this version kinda put it together and sad with hope at the end
Definitely more FIR please🙏
Ronnie is an awesome vocalist 🔥💜🔥

Fun
Well.. Unique take I guess but as I’m a straight male and he gets me emotionally invested. Weird opening in the comment there just saying haha.
What a weird comment
Loved your reaction. Subscribed. 😊
Please do Popular Monster, Voices in my head, and watch the world burn. Theres many others too but let’s take baby steps lol

Listening to the Papa Roach version we were angry teenagers, and listening to Ronnie's version we're broken adults.
Been on that edge multiple times and tried to cancel myself. The last time was after a very bad breakup. And failed. God wants me to live i guess. I'm gladf i'm still alive. Life's really hard and fucked up but i'm glad to be around still.

You should turn the volume up girl😊

Hope everyone is doing well
It's reimagined!

🔥❤️🤘
Gen x were an angry youth , hence poppa roach version. Now the new Era is emo and in their feels, hence this version.
I saw this as a grown up version of the original. One spoke with a teenage view of the world through the musicality, FIR took it to an adult level of understanding. Phenomenal
The Papa Roach version is more I'm angry. Falling in reverse version is I'm hopeless.

Y'all didn't understand this from The original version you need to focus on the lyrics cuz I understand cuz I got it from the original song
Whats up with your face? not trying to be mean but it says I'm old but I got work to look young
try different makeup
Love both versions and to me….papa roaches version I felt like that as a kid the aggression the not giving a F attitude…falling in reverse version is how I feel as an adult more more understanding of life but you are older wiser controlled emotions…love it..
You should totally listen to make it stop by rise against
you couldn't be more vague with this "ARTIST"
