All jokes aside tho, he is totally right. I saw him live in Cambridge and he is great at turning it into a joke i jus hope deep down he is in it for the right reasons and does want to provoke change in this country.
To be fair he's an actor that "fell" into comedy as a means to make a bit of money. The "real" Tom Walker is a bit of a "lefty" but not as vehement as Johnathan. I don't think he's doing it to change the world.

Face the facts. UKs remaining in EU would mean 4 me earning over 2k GBP net instead of 5 yr unemployment with occasionall callcentre n factory episodes that earn me a cigarette n food diet. But 4 The UK it would mean more and more dependency of Russian energy politics and cheap sale of Chelsea London mansions 2 the oligarchs. While it all does not sount so bad and been a common practice last 20 yrs look at facts. UKs dependency on Russian fuels is 0%. In 2014 i worked at a solar farm construction one of 28 being build south England and one of 10 Hampshire itself. And while UKs still vulnerable 2 wrld price fluctuations and households do worry about Norwegian LPG price rise by 300%, it is still UNCOMPARABLE to any EU country.
Basically your lousy governments, did conclude a situation in which while EU starves freezes to death n dies, UKs got noticable price rise. Not too bad is it? Imagine if you had a Good Government...

Pie doesn't work for me in this traditional format. Part of why I liked him (and I know realise it's possibly the main reason) was his riffing on reality. Like the possibility that he was genuinely a pissed off BBC reporter was very original. It's inevitable that he'll be funelled into this format. But it's a wee bit of a shame as it'll defang him.
Wouldn't is be amazing if they just had him give a completely normal segment like a normal reporter.
