35 YEARS ago, Billy Holton and his wife Marcy started a hot rod garage on Marcy’s family farm in Helix, Oregon. Despite being located 20 miles from the nearest town, their garage has become something of an oasis for hot rod fanatics, allowing Billy to turn his passion for all things engines into a full time career. Billy loves rebuilding cars and his pride and joy is a restored 1953 Willys Jeep Pickup, a labour of love that he started working on back in 2003. However Billy wasn’t just content with a straightforward restoration and installed the jeep with a Ford 302 V8 Engine, giving his ride a top speed of 120MPH and 350+HP. Billy loves taking out his jeep and catching some of the serious speed it can generate from its powerful engine saying: “I believe the engine is this car's heart and soul. If the engine in this car was more tame, milder, it wouldn’t be as much fun!”

its a nice build, but the 150K is UK click bait.
This guy gets it.
What did he spend the other $100,000 on?
That's exactly what I was thinking 😂... Top speed of 120 slower than stock Miata. 🤣
Rotisserie Restoration
@@deeredude should've put a Chevy in there...
Eric Worthington: "should've put a Chevy in there"
Thx bro, took the words right out of my mouth: he'll have serious reliability issues until he replaces that POS!
FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily, Found On Road Dead, etc. . . .
Drugs and hook3rs
It’s a really nice truck but I sure don’t see 150K there. I can see 50K. Maybe he’s counting everything he’s done for the whole time he’s owned it and paying himself $200 per hour if he did the work himself.
It’s actually kind of discouraging for a guy like me to look at that truck and think that if I wanted to build something that nice I’d have to spend that much money.
Yea I suspect the labor was included. Being a shop that's what he would have to sell it for.
Really nice 👌
Fantastic build, thanks for sharing brother! 👍
$150K + for a piece of junk 302 ford? at least get some FI on it
Love that truck. The flames, not so much. But then again, not a fan of pinstripes either. So take that as you may.
I always wanted to build a Willy's Jeep, but I gotta admit, that pickup looks pretty snazzy
Awesome
Sweet ride there man!
What a crappy job
Very cool................. 👍
