- This is the first video I ever made on TH-cam. I hope you like it. Some of my closest friends were having a hard time in their life, so I made this for them. This song is not mine nor are some of the pictures. I hope you enjoy it! Mary Chapin Carpenter is one of the worlds greatest song writers.

I have been following Mary Chapin since the early '90's. I would have loved to meet a woman with such depth. Alas, there is only one Mary Chapin. But, at least I can enjoy the music she shares from her soul. Thanks, Mary Chapin!!

I don't know if Mary wrote this with Jesus in mind as an inspiration, but this song is inspirational, moving beautiful, and more. It sure sounds like the love of Jesus for us all to hold on to . And to her credit I once heard John Jennings say no one decodes the message of the heart like Mary Chapin Carpenter. I love this song and the pictures that you have accompanied it with are a heart cry for love and fulfillment. Thank You

Being with you taught me absolute, unquestioned love...never felt it before, but we both knew that what we experience was just ours, as you said "soul mates"...well contrary to the experts I want to marry my soul mate...the love you taught me now has taught me something else I had very little of...patience...and you know something, we are worth the wait and obstacles till we are together...so I wait, and I love you more....I see you enter the room and you take my breath away. There is no one else, never will be...and as the song said "I ve waited much longer for lesser things"....I love you and you know it, here I am.

Beautiful song. And I was really pleasantly surprised with the Christian imagery and Bible verses! It made it just a little bit sweeter. It's too bad that Mary herself has no use for the God of the Bible. I do love her music though. And your pictures and the adding of the words make this very special. Thanks!
