Sean Patrick Flanery absolutely dominated the role. It broke my heart and shows the power of his incredible acting. Very well done!
His acting was just mesmerizing. Jordan Belfi also good, as was the warden.

this movie literally was one of the best physcological horror movies I've ever watched. It left me shocked and stunned and the acting was just incredible, I hate watching movies but this movie was beautiful.

I was lucky enough to be at the screening of this movie a few weekends ago, and I'm here to tell you all this movie will not disappoint... I will give you the ONLY warning you will need, though... DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SEAT DURING THE MOVIE! Go to the bathroom before the movie, get all your snacks and drinks, and buckle up because you're about to go on a crazy ride.
I just saw it and I want to see it again. I am so convicted and I have a sense of urgency to walk in my calling of deliverance ministry. In the most intense parts of the movie I wanted to pray and set Edward free. I walked out this movie theater forever changed. Thank you Jesus!! 🙌🏾

Everyone I know that's seen it was deeply affected & still talking about it. Don't let the "critics" negative reviews stop you from seeing this extremely potent film. I see it still holds a 96% audience score on R.T. Audience nailed it as winner, I suspect that most "critics" were simply made uncomfortable with its clear message.
They are ok so long as it's there propaganda that is so blunt.
Remember. Calling this film "Preachy" just narrows it down so little with how many films today fit that category 10 years ago.
They didn't call Batwoman show preachy for saying "It will be, when it fits a woman"
They didn't call Peter and Wendy preachy for rendering Peter worthless.
The Demons that Jesus cast out of people in the New Testament NEVER left. When a person that is possessed with a demon or demons dies, they just go to the next empty vessel and take up home there. They are real.....and are not hiding there faces anymore. They possess a lot of people who are higher up and in control. That's why they will try and hide this movie and Sound Of Freedom!

Just saw the movie. For a small budget and a cast of non-mainstream actors, this movie turned out to be an enthralling ride from start to finish
I believe this is excellent because I believe everyone who made this movie was possessed by the HOLY Spirit when they worked on this movie.

Had to pee about 5 minutes into the movie--but I WOULD NOT leave my seat for even a second to miss any part of the movie. It really had me thinking about how much sin influences my own life and how much the power of darkness rules this present world. The movie is true, in that Eph. 6 is absolutely true--and occurring.

This incredible film clearly articulated the spiritual battle we find ourselves in. It is an incredible film. I've seen it three times in the last five days, taking friends each time, and I rarely go to movies. This film had a deep impact on my stance on the death penalty. Do yourself a favor and Go see it - and take a few friends with you, you'll talk about it for days!

Those of us that don’t need to see it, probably shouldn’t, TheLord made this film because he needs people to see it, but for those of us that already know. This film needs to be watched under constant prayer, because the demon talks more truth then the human. And it’s very hard to not agree with the Demon. But The Lord made this film, and it must be shared worldwide. Why can’t the UK watch this?

The utter creepiness of this trailer makes the first one look more wholesome and less threatening. This really starts to make you feel uneasy. I cannot wait to see it in theaters.

I think it speaks volumes about how difficult it is to even hear a little bit about this movie online. No one really wants to talk about it, as far as in major critics and media outlets. The very few real critics who have watched it have scoffed at it and said that it is terrible acting. But they all go on their woke rampage criticizing the portrayal of what abortion really is. I think it's a very telling sign that the people who are reviewing it are most likely non-believers or people who definitely side with the enemy and have a real agenda. This movie is done extremely well, whether or not you are a believer. If you look at the rotten tomatoes score, while the slim pickings of critics reviewed it and called it trash, the user score is in the '90s. That should tell you something.

Having said that I'm really wondering if God would want us to watch this movie? As Christians that are Spirit filled we know that Satan and demons are real and we know how they operate. We have the Bible to guide us. Do we really need an avenue and an opportunity that Satan might use to get inside our heads? We are to take every thought captive because of this. We need the conviction from God to recognize sin and to desire to repent. Jesus never tried to school the disciples about Satan in any way like this and if He wanted to, He surely could and would. What makes this movie so powerful is that it is based on absolute reality. The things spoken of and portrayed in this movie are actually happening, in various degrees, to millions of people every day of their lives. This movie does a good job of pulling back the blinders for all to see. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

We watched this one night thinking it would be so so, a little bit of entertainment, no action movie with a lot of loud noises to have to turn down the volume then turn it back up over and over, but, for a movie that was 99% dialog, no gore, no stupid special effects, outstanding dialog, all I know is when it was over, I needed to go watch some other movie to unwind from that wild ride. I think we found Touched By An Angel--The Christmas Miracle episode...back in April.

Why is this rate “R” for disturbing content? I mean, we all know why… Hollywood let’s films that are super violent like Magnificent Seven remake and any of the recent Batman films all past with a PG13. Yet this gets an R? The agenda against Conservatives is clear!

This was a very good movie. The acting was excellent. At first, I did not like all the twitching mannerisms, but the ebbs and flows of the conversations and performances and the climaxes made it enthralling and I did get drawn into the story and the topics and it did end up captivating me. The two primary actors were believable and it felt like you had a seat at the table and both of them actually will get in your head. I was surprised and satisfied by this movie. It was a beautiful day, but I wanted to see this and while watching it, I thanked myself for a good call, which is rare for a movie.
The making of this movie was plagued by strange setbacks... deaths, injuries, accidents. The production building in Burbank, CA was ruined by a freak deluge of rain. Only building in the area. Complete demolition. Hard drives with filming and interviews erased. Read about it.

For people who follow film ratings websites remember some of them are paid to promote less popular movies.
They will rate low sometimes the popular movies because they are corrupted.
To choose a good movie -
Read the synopsis and if it makes sense as a storyline, go see the movie.
If there is no actual storyline, don't go see the movie. It's often that simple.
Also try as often as possible to watch the trailer as they often give the feeling of whether the storyline makes sense enough to be worth investing your time into it.
I don't get why you would only release this for America and Canada, so frustrating. I would of thought you'd want more people to see this.

First let me say that when I saw this movie (the first time) I hadn’t heard anything about it at all. My wife suggested it so I watched it… though the movie itself is a psychological horror film it’s strictly based on the conversations had between the 2 characters. I’m a horror movie buff. I love to be scared by the artistic visions of the directors and cast… This movie did not disappoint. This movie scared me in a way that followed me out of the theater and has stuck with me for days. No special effects were needed because the terror is real. I will say with certainty Nefarious will top my list as one of my top 5 best horror movies. I’ve been disappointed in the lack of quality in recent horror movies in the past decade… This was not one of those movies. YOU MUST WATCH. It’s The Omen meets Fallen meets Silence of the Lambs.😱😱😱
