Ren is such a character. And unlike most artists he doesn't change what he makes to suit the viewer, he makes music that suits his own mood and personality and current feelings. So he's crazy sometimes, sad sometimes, funny sometimes, and we get to see all of that. Which makes him the most honest artist in the whole industry. And he respects us enough to know that we can accept it when he does something that's very different and still love him anyway. ❤️ 😂

The more "rock" section of part 3 Ren is paying homage to Zach De La Rocha lead singer of the band Rage Against The Machine. A rap/rock band from the 90's and early 2000's know for their strong views against racism, capitalism, the gov, etc. If you liked that part I'd highly recommend considering their music for a future post!

Oh Ren made you a little uncomfortable? But if you listen to the start of Love Music Pt. 4 closely, he lets you know what to expect. "Sick in the Coco", "Feeling Anti-Social" (TH-cam is a social network) "blowing up Chernobyl" (which was a reactor). So he basically went nuts to see how reactors would be irritated or blown up 😅

The LM3 film clips are from the 1941 The Marx Brothers movie Hellzapoppin' which was remarkable not only for featuring people of colour but actual Harlem NY NY dancing superstars and building some of the "plot" around them just so they could show off to a movie audience. Frankie Manning (Whitey's Lindy Hoppers), Martha Raye, Dean Collins. A movie about the production of a movie about the (then real and existing) Broadway musical named Hellzapoppin', that quickly falls into chaos. Ren included a history lesson for us in this one, at least to the dancers and old movie buffs

Im sure it is a word play and yes you’re right, in one sense he is referring to the time signature of the song and bearing mind the rest of the lyrics of this song, I think he might also be referring to ‘doggy style’ at the same time as a follow up to the previous bar ‘I’m the king of fertility when I do it like that.’😇

If I had to rank the Love Music tracks for me, from favourite to lesser favourite, it would be 2, 4, 3, 1. The overall message of part 1 is the most uplifting and positive though. The other three are just Ren having a bit of fun, playing with rhyme schemes and pushing the boundaries of taste (part 4 being the real killer for that ❤😂)

I vacillate between 2, 3 and 4 being my favourite. I think if it’s just a case of listening to a banging track, it’s 4. I love the James Bond scheme in 2 but 3 has a bunch of great wordplay and blends elements I like from both 2 and 4.

My favorite is part 3, the same as Ren's favorite, followed by 1 and 2 in close competition, and then 4. I don't gel with part 4. I know that's a very unpopular opinion.
