- A Sopranos Character Anaylsis for Richie Aprile (played by David Proval). Richie Aprile always claimed to be from the old school, but in reality, Richie was an insecure man who resented Tony Soprano and did not respect the new pecking order. Richie Aprile was always flexing.
*SPOILERS*
This video contains spoilers from the HBO hit series The Sopranos (and minor spoilers from The Many Saints of Newark).
This episode was narrated and produced by Geoffrey Ciani (aka - Rummy).
This episode was written by Geoffrey Ciani and Christian Twiste.

Richie Aprile - Always Flexin' | The Sopranos
I backed off Beansie, then I put it in drive.
You're gonna build Borko a ramp
he will build to your ahh maybe drive a lionel up there
I’m not gonna tell Sopranos Theories that this job is not getting done
I loved Richie Aprile, the strong silent type with lots of moxy for his size.
Really drove the show forward.
That's nice... He died.. I can't even wear his shinebox
Then he drove it backwards
@@yojeliwhateva happened there
"First I gave him the Manson lamps, then I gave him the high-beams!"
0:36 It was Beansie that couldn't walk the walk
Don't give me those Manson lamps
👁️👁️
👃🏻
Master ramp builder he was, I'll never forget when he sent pre-blood pressure medication Vito to construct it with the crew in the clown van! Heard it went as far as the house to Paulies rectum! Truly innovative.
Richie always wore the coolest jackets.
"It's the jacket!!!!"
He always shopped at Rocco Demaio's
That artist's sketch of Junior in court gets me everytime! 😂😂😂
Borko: "Rummy has tremendous moxie for a channel his size."
Me: "Tell me about it."
A habitual line-stepper, as the late, great Charlie Murphy would've said
I use that line every chance I get.
I KNOW …. It’s just a stutta-step
I loved Richie Aprile probably my favorite written character in media, wish he stuck around for a little more but he served his duties well i guess
I would have loved to see Richie and Ralph in a scene together
Na he was one note, Johnny sack definitely better
Jim Breuer's Pizza Man!!! It's Pizza Man. Greatest character ever
Richie never had the makings of a varsity flexer.
David Proval is a fantastic actor.
Sad when they go young
Richie was just a kid
Let him pay me my munnnny!
you go home richie
He couldn’t sell it.
Is The Jackeeeettttttt mentioned?
Richie was the 2d best character in the show
The best was the jaaaacket.
Ohh hell yeahh 🤘😄🤘
Hope you enjoy. Cheers!
@@WowLynchWow always bro thanks

YA FLEXXXINNNNNN
You know loved flexxxxxxxin..
Joey Peeps
I'd say Vito
Tony working two full charcoal grills, whatever happened there.
Another cracking video Rummy! Really enjoyed htis one. I was first a fan of your boxing channel for a while and stumbled across this channel. I remember thinking "Gosh this guy is really good at analysis, he reminds me of Rummy and sounds like him too.... ohhhhhhhhh!". Keep the good stuff coming bro.
Much appreciated, thank you very much. Cheers!
00:54 “in short”……no pun intended? Well he was kinda short, and had a short temper as well lol.
And he’s in no mood for your
He just couldn't sell it tho
Obviously PAULIE WALNUTS... Is a favorite (character) of mine from the show... And i think most ppl have a very high adoration for him as his role was so exceptional on the show.
But whenever ive had to talk about a "top 5" or answer the question "who's my favorite Character from the show".. RICHIE APRILE always .... Fights his way into the number 1 spot on ocassion.. as whenever im prompted to answer this question...a multitude of different character traits by Aprile ALWAYS SURFACE... and tho i mostly almost always default to Paulie... like i said i FIND MYSELF CONSTANTLY having to deduce some common reasoning at times as to why RICHIE doesn't have the top spot.
I forget the Actors name...i think david or something like that..but this CHARACTER that he created with richie aprile almost ALWAYS IMMEDIATELY STEALS THE SCENE anytime hes in one... It's like you're watching the sopranos...but when hes in a scene you're paying attention solely to him and how everyone else reacts to him is whats gonna dictate whether its a memorable scene or not.... cuz RICHIE WAS ALWAYS ON 1000. ONE OF THE BEST ACTORS FOR A TELEVISION SERIES. EVERRRR
Well said. He did have a very powerful screen presence. Cheers!
The scariest character on Soprano's didn't take shit from nobody, not even Tony
Just to make sure.....are you trying to do vocal impression of Ray Liotta doing an impression of Henry Hill from the Goodfellas?? If not, then I have no idea why you're making that voice, but it's entertaining either way LOL but I am curious and would appreciate an answer asap muhahahaaa!!! 🤔😇🤗😋😁😂😎
it's youtube, so people feel the need to put on a ridiculous voice
It's an AI voice
Ya flexiinnnnn
Veal Parm Sandwich? 🤬
You gonna build Beansie a ramp and drive a Lionel up inside it?
What do you mean?
Tony looked like Robert Evans wearing The Jacket! 😆
What, no cameo from Laura Palmer? Marrone…
Seriously, this is a great analysis of the character. There are lots of parallels with Phil Leotardo too…
I always liked Richie he’s my favorite sopranos gangster he’s good back up I wouldn’t mind kicking up Money to Richie
I’d love to see you cover The Penguin 🐧
Magic TV 📺 ❤
Be careful out tere. TH-cam is filled with negative energies. I told em that.
Real quick......in that prequel movie: Saints of Newark, was there an actor that played a younger version of Richie?? I can't remember for sure, so I'd appreciate any info thank you!
I don't believe so
Not that I recall.
Rummy is the goat
Is this rummys corner other channel
Manson Lamps
I'm in ore of Rummy.
Could only be "...cruel, vicious and vindictive." What about the jacket? Means nothing to you too I guess lol
This is Rummy’s corner lol😅😅😅😅. My voice recognition skills are A1
WLW…I’m in R of you.
I tell you i hated this guy with how well he played such an unlikeable character.
Great Fken Video!! 🤙
Johnny Boy is overrated..... I mean what special pull did he really have.. who was portrayed as half a jerk off kind of in the movie... I mean he was a prick and everything ,just asshole more so... Was he like an over earner?idk. They didn't portray him as anything special really in the movie
Here is what bugs me you missed the opportunity to quote Junior saying “he couldn’t sell it” but made a joke about the makings of a varsity athlete. Up your game dawg. The people who love this show need to need this channel
Is this AI slop?
What the hell is a Varsity mob boss?? Y'all sure know how to beat a joke into dust.
Wrong video for that type of ish comment
@@DSPHistoricalSocietyMaybe but I can say what I want and there's nothing you can do or say to deter me.
@@fyreleomh1896you’re the strong, vocal type aren’t you
Go get your f*ckin’ shinebox.
@fyreleomh1896 you never had the makings of a varsity youtube commenter
Best rummys corner sopranos video since Vito don't kno shit about boxin
Thank you very much. Cheers!
Are you @MollyWhopMMA ??
Sounds more like rummys corner than molly tbh
