I wore the original Leau D'Issey for years. I discovered it in 1997. When I wore it in the late 90's it drove men mad! They would stop me constantly asking what I was wearing! It was so different back then it really made you stand out
I love the original and Pure. I can't believe they would discontinue Pure. It hasn't even been out for that long. Huge pity. I have recently tried Violet and I'm loving it too
I just blind bought this because I was looking for a light violet for spring and early summer. It was a success! It's light and fresh yet slightly powdery. It's nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes you want to smell pretty and not have to think too much about it.
No matter what but Issey Miyake/Shiseido are incredible in formulating what a new scent needs to be as well as in the choice of parfumers.... This Solar Violet is not our favorite yet it complements this magical conical L'Eau line and someone like it for sure. Thanks to SOKI for presenting it so thoroughly.. 🎉

Have you tried the flanker rose and rose?? Its beautiful! I really can't get enough of the issey miyake perfumes. I own l'eau d'issey original, the rose and rose, pleats please and I'm planning on buying more. Have not been disappointed so far.
