I bought this Tissot Grendizer a few days ago at Shinsagae Busan. Was looking at Tissot Gentleman to buy, until I saw the display inside glass box: this Grendizer! Whaaaatttt???? I didn’t know before this one existed. The watch, complete with its UFO instantly made change my mind. This was the watch I want.
I watched Mazinger Z (the other version of the same creator of Grendizer) as a child, and it looks awesome!!!! Nostalgia will push me to get this piece for sure
This is nostalgia aimed at the European Gen X’ers. It will not due well here in the US, but just wait until Tissot puts out the Speed Racer Tissot PRX and it is going to crush with nostalgic American Gen X’ers.
@@marcusflack1523 Yes, also a robot story, but it has like 20 seasons with varying titles and eras, kindd of like StarWars. Some series are good, some are bad.
Not keen on the design because I’m not into anime, however not having a date function for me is a great idea. I find them irritating to say the least, but they do have their uses-sometimes!
Don't get me wrong, big anime, super robot, mecha fan. But this is probably the last thing I could have predicted from a Swiss brand like Tissot. Were Casio, Seiko, and Citizen too busy?
My favorite anime show! I remember fighting with my sister to death just to watch this show!😅 Just Pre-ordered mine today. That packaging looks amazing and truly a collectors edition. Cant wait!
Thats really cool to hear. Seems like this hits right in the sweet spot for collectors like youself. Wonder if your sister will wanna fight it off your wrist. HAHAHAHA
A smaller size would be super interresting. Then maybe it could work on a much smaller wrist. I think that would be awesome. Expensive to buy for my kid, but might concider something like that. HAHAH
I've spotted your MHA tee in previous vids, Zach. More of this kind of collab, please. I'd love a Ulysses 31 wristwatch. How about a G-force/Battle of the planets/Science ninja team gatchaman Oris. @@Sam_Leo1 SO many ideas. A fume dial with the face of Zeus, something based on the crimson jewel on his chest, something based on the Odyssey or the computer interface. A design based on the leoline helmets. I'd love something based on his sword/gun and shiled, but no idea how that would work. Thats a cool way to bring some new interest to the PRX
I agree. And the colab really makes a lot of sense with the faceted angles of the PRX and this modern anime.
The watch is insane actually. I could care less about anime but you have to admit this is interesting.
Yes I think this is actually a really natural blend with the prx style and anime in general.
