You're absolutely right it won't change past history but what it is doing is changing current history to the Past. What I mean by that is people are starting to get an ill feeling those individuals they're willing to destroy property and hurt other people simply because they think they have some kind of an identity politics issue to post. And it's not just blacks it's whites to its Asians what is a generational thing moreover and the problem is this generation hasn't been taught proper history. Those of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s knew was slavery was and we knew the slavery was wrong but we also knew that there was a war there have been fought to eradicate it in this country. Certainly it took many years after that overcome cultural differences we are let me carry that apart now too. Folks even know what the hell they want out of life? They can't respect the past they don't respect the future and they only live for the now. How myopic. My only solace in this whole thing is that life eventually comes to an end and I won't have to listen to this b******* anymore. I'm tired of people who feel that they're better than other people or did they deserve extra and if they don't have to work for it. I'm tired of people being unable appreciate what they have, having never traveled the world and seen the atrocities that are far worse than this nation ever experienced but are still going on. And I'm tired people who say that they hate this country so much but won't leave and only seek to destroy other people's lives. It's kind of like when Trump was elected president all the people said well I'm leaving but none did. Liars! You don't have the balls to leave because you know let the rest of the world is far worse and probably wouldn't put up with your shenanigans anyway. Yeah I said it, Shenanigans and I'll pistol-whip the next person that says it LOL

@@seanconover9129 You are right. The education system has failed these people by not teaching them correctly. I graduated in 93 so I know what you are talking about. These are also people who were not disciplined as children. So now we have a bunch of oversized two year olds having oversized tantrums. History can be ugly, but it needs to be taught correctly and respected. If we don't, it WILL repeat itself.

What in the hell is your rationale for desecrating somebody's to or grave. If this is the tactic that these groups are going to stoop to then they are no better than groups like Al-Qaeda Taliban and Isis and should be dealt with in the same manner in which we dealt with those groups.

KedTaczynski 587 No, u dont remember the Native Americans. We are still here. Some are mixed and some are full blooded. And we remember the Voluntary Indian Removal Act we were forced to sign in old echota...which is Red Clay TN. It was presented to my ancestors, by the messenger Paul Walker. My great great great granduncle shot PW. There was a “big trial”. Chief Ross then signed the removal act and moved us out to Muskogee, OK. Jackson had slain many native people. Its like my people were forced to give up their homes. What is money when you cant live anywhere. Fuck him. Fuck Andrew Jackson.

Why? Because it offends you? Will that somehow erase history? No. Why must monuments that you don't agree with be taken down? Can you not be an adult and use it as a teaching point? Monuments and statues are not necessarily meant to glorify. They are meant to educate. Defacing or destroying monuments and statues is as mature as a child drawing on the wall.
