well recently, jyp finally said that this song actually he wrote with sana in his mind, the time he wrote this song is exactly after the instagram controversy when sana posting about appreciating the end of heisei era and welcoming reiwa era in japan, and that post becoming a huge controversy in korea, almost all major media attacking her, some of them even forcing jyp to kick all of the Japanese member out of twice.. after the clash, twice instagram account been inactive for a couple of weeks, but they refuse to apologize as many media demand them to do, and i believe sana is feeling so depressed about this incident, bcs we rarely seeing her after that, and when she finally make an appearance, she looks so scared with all of her surrounding, then mina also feeling the same.. there's also some footage that shows sana completely changed into another person, her smile was gone, she just keep lookin down or just spacing out.. it was a terrible time for all once's...
I feel like a song reaction wouldn't be complete without understanding the lyrics. The song was actually quite deep. It talked about the members' fears, emotions, anxieties, mental health and then gratitude to fans and then each other. Especially that one of them just came back from her hiatus, due to severe anxiety, just to shoot the video. If you look closer, the music video itself has a lot to say. Well, I guess if you really aren't much that of a fan of Twice, you would not understand just how much of an emotional ride this whole comeback was. This year was a bit of hell for them and their fans. I feel like this was their most special and most important video to date. I guess, as a fan, that's why I get a bit sensitive about this particular song. I usually don't care if Twice isn't other people's cup of tea as long as I enjoy being their fan, I'm good with that. This song was personal for Twice and their fans. It honestly made me cry knowing everything they had been through basically their entire career, especially Mina at the moment, and this song was basically a thank you to their supporters and to each other. Not to mention it sounds great.
