Thanks so much, MJB! I'm just trying to keep up with you! I love your new Home Trilogy videos. So good!! I'm looking forward to making music together soon. Abrazos!
I never could have expected a political statement form a 4 mallet solo. I am truly amazed. The solo is absolutely astonishing, and the message is one that i agree with on a personal level.
Cada vez que escucho ésta pieza me da un sentimiento inexplicable, pero la amo demasiado. Words can't describe how I feel when I hear this piece. Is wonderful
Ivan, I've been loving all your stuff and this is, similarly, super impressive! I love your message and passion, and was really looking forward to your next release :) keep it up
Ivan, your work and writing (and a clinic you gave on composing mostly 😂) was what inspired me to better myself on keyboards and write pieces myself, and your work still never fails to impress and inspire me. Thank you for your amazing work. I can't wait to see what's next!
I have a friend who was playing forgiveness. I went to listen to it, and when I scrolled through and saw this, I thought it was zeppelin, but I love it anyways.
ivandrums as a young Mexican American who's parents came here and turned their lives around I can't say how inspiring it is to see some of my own gente succeeding in the field I've chosen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Viva Familia.
Amazing piece my dude! I love it. I may just have to learn it next semester! What Mallets are you using exactly? CN4, CN9, and Eric Sammut? That's what it looks like. Not sure though.
Great piece, but you should consider altering the title slightly to avoid confusion with the classic Led Zeppelin song. Maybe "Song of The Immigrant", or "Song For An Immigrant".
We're just gonna ignore the fact that I expected this to be a led zeppelin arrangement alright? Lol great performance anyway!
Yes! XD
Haha same

Yeah man! You're a musical beast Flash!!!

Beautiful. I hope your mom is happy to have such a wonderful son.
I find myself returning to your music quite a lot. There’s something beautiful about the way you write and play that’s hard to put into words.

2:43 gave me all the feels. Love it Ivan!
Thanks Matthew!

Wow Ivan, I love your compositions. They are so accessible - meaning it's music that I could learn, and have a great time in the process.

What mallets are you using?
They sound beautiful.
Thanks so much! I used two Sammut 12's on top, one Concerto 9, and one Concerto 4 at the bottom.
Here me out here me out. This accompanied by hand percussion.
what size marimba is this song meant to be played on?
I was just thinking about turning this solo to a remix.
Reminds me of "gotta get through this"
Are there any adaptations of this for a 4.3 marimba? And excellent job truly
Amazing piece my dude! I love it. I may just have to learn it next semester! What Mallets are you using exactly? CN4, CN9, and Eric Sammut? That's what it looks like. Not sure though.
You are exactly right on the mallets :) Thanks for watching, Shawn!

Thanks Jack! Two Malletech Sammut 12's on top, one CN9 and one CN4. Thanks for watching!
