I wouldn't say its an intro, but It would be more like a layering song (e.g. You Say Run From BNHA)

friendly recommendation: if you're going to use burton grip, I would wrap the mallet shafts in grip tape, or be sure your back three fingers are always applying the right amount of pressure, in order to get rid of those pesky "stick clicks". otherwise, nice recording!

Actually she is using a grip called traditional grip, it was the first 4 mallet grip created and it differs from burton in the way that the mallets are split and the way they are stacked, if you want to look at specifics, here is a link,

rhineheart of the abyss she is using a lot of forearm... to fix this i would practice using only your wrist and try to sound as best as possible. Forearm is used to move around the board but you should use your wrist rotation to actually hit the mallet. If you ever study Stevens grip this is even more important

The only thing that bothers me, and i dont know how professional she is so im not going to judge harshly, but as ive started to prefer stevens more than burtons, the rattan click of burtons bothers me. So i prefer to stick with stevens.

I say this as im looking for solos to perform and my Director hates the rattan click so if we use burtons we have to practice in order to not get the click. I mean nothing harsh by this comment ^.^

Just wrap the mallet handles with flesh tape. Such as Nexcare waterproof first aid tape. It’s $3.40 at Target.
