I love Cage!! I think I want to take one of these and maybe never take it off and keep the phone well protected!!! How does this CAGE BEHAVE with filters???? .... Once again: Congratulations on the channel! Very good content!!! I just bought an i14pro and I don't know which accessory(s) to choose; I need to protect it and I want to think about using a variable ND filter... I still have two Mont-M slow ones... What recommendations could you give me?
Very good video!👍 Sir, will that aluminum cage affect iPhone’s cell signal or Wi-Fi receiving? I’m considering if I can daily use the Smallrig cage for my iPhone. Thank you!
Great Vlogg. FYI.I Have a DJI Pocket 2 which fits in perfectly vertically. Just moved accessories around to suit as well as my go pro. So Small rig is cross platform accessible. Thank you
Hi there--thank you for the video! Quick Q: I've just got the SmallRig cage for my iPhone to mount on my Magnus TR-13 Travel Tripod w/ Dual-Action Ball Head + the DJI mic2 pack. Unfortunately the lightening plug that connects the DJI receiver to my iphone won't fit through the holes of the SmallRig cage--is there any way around this or do I need to get a new cage? Please advise!
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro the reason I ask is it’s my understanding that the Moondog Labs Multi Filter mount 52 mm is compatible with a bayonet mount(I believe moment lenses also use bayonet mounts) and then with a step up ring 52 to 72mm, you basically use any filter you want. I know this can definitely be done with the lite chaser case & cage for iPhone 14 pro but not sure with the small rig cage
on the rig you can change out the filter mount.. so you just gotta get the right one. I mostly use the sandmarc anamorphic or the freewell ones are also great
Great video. Happy New Year BTW. Question. In this video, which Gimbal did you add the Quick Release Plate to that can carry such heavy payload ? Thank you.

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro if I wanted to attach the lens that most people attach to the iPhone. Can you attach the cinematic lens if you have a insta 360 flow?
Hello, can you recommend a smallrig (iphone 14 pro max) for a beginner? All I want (right now) is the rig and tripod, is there anything that exists like that, seems like everything has to be purchased separately.
You can purchase the smallrig cage and then a separate tripod - though the prices of the bundles with e.g. handle(s) are cheaper compared to buying the individual components. I haven't seen a bundle with a cage and a tripod. I'd say that the smallrig cage is suitable for beginners, as you can further adapt it and add stuff later on. Also, you are not set on a specific lens brand, since you can switch between different mount systems and try different brands to find the one that's best for you.
Can you add a list of lenses (and nd filters if there’s any options) that can work with the extra backplate? And what handle are you using? Is it Bluetooth since you pressing it?
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro I know I can change the backsplate. I’m asking which lenses could you recommend for the iPhone 14 pro that works with the 17 mm m-mount backplate.
Amazing had the the iPhone 13pro got the iPhone 14pro and it no longer fit. Rendered my entire rig useless . It’s a great system but if you plan to upgrade to the next 15 pro….just know, it will all need to be replaced
@Stephen Well, that's not completely true - only the cage needs to be replaced, the other stuff can be used still. And most people have to buy new smartphone cases when they upgrade; the cage is something around 50$, so I don't think that this is such a big issue (as long as the other accessories still fit, that is).
@@EatYou2 totally get it. Was just frustrated that I bought all of this swag for the cage and then it didn’t fit anymore. Same will happen when the next iPhone comes out. More of an apple issue. I love the small rig.

Small rig is the best

I don‘t know if they still sell an iPhone 12 cage, just check amazon
@SMARTPHONE FILMMAKING PRO okay, thanks!

Thanks!
Do the handles have buttons? If so how are those triggered. Thank you in advance for any info.
Are the handles silver/grey? Or black?
How have you attached the gimbal to the cage. What gimbal have you used. Thanks
Zhiyun Crane M3 - they come with a 1/4 inch screw

I’d like to know as well

depends on the light, but generally speaking, yes!
I was wondering If you can also put the external lenses on the main Camera or just on the Wide and Tele Camera, does somebody know more about this ?
Of course! You can‘t add anything to the ultrawide
