What if the payee name is the other person & the same name person gets that cheque?
E.g. : A cheque is written to pay Harsh Mehta but one more person is there whose name is same Harsh Mehta then how is this possible for bank to confirm that the payee is correct or not?

When ever a person receive a cheque from issuer the beneficiary go to his/her bank and they fill the deposit form with their account details and attach this cheque to that form and dump that in cheque box in the branch
