    Very nice, professional looking video. I have a 1970 Bronco and you've just given me confidence to tackle this job. Thanks and keep the videos coming!

    It's sooooo great to see another `75, we have the rarest year. There were only 13,125 units of `75's produced. It's always cool to see, when one pops up somewhere. You have a very nice truck there!

      +Cody38Super YES! I love it! Where are you at? You have any pictures of your truck?

      Houston. Find the Premier Edition of BRONCO DRIVER, with that screwed up-no engine-no transmission havin'- "paint everything Neon Chartreuse-ass Yellow Bronco on the cover. (i'm just mad because i didn't get the cover) I'm in the featured article right after the cover truck. However, I did get the cover of Vintage Truck magazine, along with the centerfold. The trucks name is "Ginger", there's a hole story behind the name & the acquisition of the truck, blah blah blah..... I'm trying to get enough good video footage of her, so I can cobble together enough material for a TH-cam video. She's a Ranger package, fully loaded, all original, UN-RESTORED, 45k mile (i bought her with 32k on the clock in`99) truck. With the original manual in the glove box, I use the original keys on the original key fob, the original dealership has all of the service records, and is 15 minutes from my house down Hwy 59. Occasionally I get a little crap, because they think I'm lying, but....F!#!K `EM!! Right about now, you're probably thinking you really want to see this truck.....this is gonna make you want to send me a pipe bomb in the mail!!!..........I bought her for $8k...........

      +Cody38Super WHAT?!?!?! Yeah, seriously! Man. Now I don't want to look at any pictures of your truck. That's crazy! Well, if I'm ever in Houston or you're out in Nashville let's get together for a beer at least.

      You actually found it ?!?!?That's fantastic! Thank You sooo much. It may sound odd to some folks that don't understand old cars....but, I know what it feels like to hit the lottery. (except no amount of money can buy what I was lucky enough to find) Thank you again!

    Thank you. I got two quotes for 2,500 and 3,000 to do the front suspension. I thought it would be very difficult, but only took three hours to remove everything with me taking my time. Now off to installation

    Hey John, is it possible to change the radius arm bushings without dropping the whole axle? Is there enough room when you separate the halves on the axle to slide the arm up/forward to get it out of the rear mount?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really. And you have to tighten everything so evenly to avoid body lean

    Do you think this would be a good first step in trying to resolve some death wobble issues? I looked underneath and some bushings look like some are new and some are probably 30-somehting years old.

      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Mark Cafiero yeah this would be a great place to start

      Mark Cafiero did you ever solve your death wobble issues?

    Great videos. I'm officially in the weeds with this project and you have been a good help. I'm also a photographer and I do live streaming video stuff for a financial tech company (but nothing really on TH-cam), so I appreciate your handy work there, too. I think I'll just mimic everything you're doing on this channel. I need to redo the wiring eventually. How much of a time commitment was that for you?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Mark Cafiero yeah definitely! It takes me about 3 times as long to film while I work. It's a pretty big pain in the butt when you are trying to move quick.

    How did you come to the 7 degree bushing choice?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Baker on James duff site they suggest the 4degree bushing for 1-2 1/2 inch lifts and the 7degree bushing for 3+ inch lifts. So I picked the 7degree off that. Do you know your lift height?

    • @diggs002
      @diggs002 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well i measured using this: www.bcbroncos.com/springheight.pdf
      It came out to 7" (stock as the PDF says)
      I have a 2inch body lift.

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Baker do you plan on putting a different lift on anytime soon?

    • @diggs002
      @diggs002 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I will need new springs, just not sure to stay with stock or go with 2 1/2 Coil Springs. I like the look of the bronco now. Did you lift your bronco?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Baker it came with a lift, but it's just blocks in the back and shocks and springs up front. I would like to freshen up the whole thing but it will have to wait. When I do it I'll go with a 3 1/2 inch kit.

    I hate to bad mouth anyone but my radius arm bushings from Duff cracked and fell of after a number of years.

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      george hirvela Oh man! That sucks! What did you end up doing?

    • @georgehirvela7435
      @georgehirvela7435 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was the rear radius arm bushing so I had to listen to some clunking till I got home to replaced them. The other one crumbled in my hand. Hey it gave me a chance to put in new springs, now it's all good.

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      george hirvela Man that's crazy, I'll have to watch out. But anything to give you an excuse to replace more parts right!

      +george hirvela Just to let you know, we changed suppliers on those. We had some people have issues, usually because of long periods of the rig sitting. They are all designed to be self lubricated and sitting was their enemy. The ones we use now are downright slippery with oil so it will never be a problem.
