I would give an organ and most of my possessions to see a this done with heroes of the storm. My favorite moba ever. But I know that will never happen.
Im am really cursious to see this game launching early access at the end of Winter.. I really hope they launch with a decent size of content from the beginning
Yeh,.I think in this test the solo experience was limited. But I'm quite sure that there's missing content that will bridge the gap between what you get when you start the game and what you see here. I'm optimistic and I'm not going to condemn the game while it's in an alpha state.
This game looks like a standalone version of a whole slew of WC3 custom maps I played as a kid. I do remember those games being slower, more methodical experiences. Its understandable that the comments here are detracting on the slower looking gameplay since that kind of game design is literally decades old at this point. But for an alpha, this looks pretty darn refined.
The developer, Artificial Core, has tried to combine mmo and moba systems. It's like a hybrid of wow and league of legends. I can see why people say it looks slow, but when playing, it doesn't feel slow
I noticed this too and was surprised xd It's probably a 21:9 monitor issue or driver issues with blackout. There has never been anything like this with me and I have over 50+ hours of game play in alpha. Likewise looking at other videos, it's not there either. On the twitch vods it's not there either. So idk fuuny :D
Thank you. I wouldn't mind more narration on this kind of video, though. Just watching gets monotonous after a while. I don't think you need to try and talk just for the sake of it, but giving commentaries about how you subjectively experience what you are doing is valuable to me. Cheers!
Yeh I appreciate that. If it was solo play then I could narrate. Due to this being a group thing on discord I couldn't really narrate, and I thought it cheeky to put the voice chat on. But we have another test soon 🤗
So from what I have seen from other content creators, it is mandatory to play with a big party otherwise its nearly impossible to level up in the game. This video does not address solo leveling in any way, what are your thoughts on this?
It feels like we're missing content between the start area and the level 10+ area. I'd expect as we're shown more the content gaps will be filled and levelling will flow much better. Personally I managed to play solo for the majority of the time, but needed a group to go deep into the woods. It's impossible to say if the future game will require groups to play, but it's fair to say that in any mmorpg group content is always easier and faster than solo
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you should have anyone who is wounded to group up and healer should save heals till you have 3+ wounded? Also because health and mana are such a thing the tank should be taunting then running away most fights?
Health and mana isn't really a problem in the game if you play the game how it's supposed to be played, but it does require that downtime between camps to heal up. Healing in combat is negligible. Tanks and healers aren't really dedicated to specific roles like in other games though. They have tank and healer traits, but you can't depend on them as a dedicated healer or dedicated tank. The legionary as an example has a skillshot which taunts the target for 2s only so you can't simply taunt all creeps in the camp and let them attack them. The legionary is tough, but can't just stand there taking it to the face while the blast medic heals etc. It feels like it's more like PvP combat than it does PvE in a lot of ways - but the small camps make that okay and it works well.
Hello bro, I have a question, do you remember how the legionnaire’s passive worked in previous tests? Now you have to stack it with your hits, but before the enemy had to hit you to get those stacks, right?
the last test was a closed invite-only alpha and I believe the criteria was that you were active on the corepunk forum, and then people who signed up on the website. The next test is set for February at some point and they're aiming for early access at the end of winter (depending on the outcome of these tests). I'd recommend signing up for beta on the corepunk.com website and then engage on the forum a little and you might be selected. Please bear in mind i have no official information on this, just observations and of course i don't speak for artificial core in any capacity so take everything said with a pinch of salt
Well given that they already acted on our feedback and made significant positive changes to the game, I'd argue that they are in fact listening to feedback and making necessary changes
Looks good, but waaaay too slow. Hope they change that, Loved the ide behind Albion Online, but it was so slow like this and at the end killed the game for me.
I enjoy the pace personally. I'm a moba fan so this works for me. I have a feeling that we'll experience the world differently as the game gets closer to/at release
@@BlackoutGamingChannel Fair enough :) But even moba games are faster then this. They shoul look at the phase/speed of Vampire rising, it would be good for a game like this. Not too slow and not as fast as ARPG games.
@@kongkim I've played countless hours of v rising (as you can see from my channel) and I probably agree that it's possibly a bit faster paced but perhaps not too much. I've just today uploaded a short showing the movement speed of corepunk Vs league of legends, I should compare to v rising too 🤔
Same speed as league of legends so that works for me. If it's not for you then that's cool. I'm sure you'll find your fast-paced non-game soon enough! 🙃☺️🙃
Honest question? Are you shilling? The game was boring af! 95% of the people we tried the Alpha agree on that. I know it is an Alpha, but my oh, my! This was a terrible alpha test.
Originally the trailers made the game look like you left town with a party of 4 and entered open world pvp areas. Having 6 players in a psedo-raid/group so you steamroll all the PVE makes the game look dumb imo

Sound design is pretty good for a western MMO. I hope it doesn't turn into a clusterfuck of noise when you have more units on screen.
Looks awesome!
It's such a fun game

Your healing was insane!! Thanks for keeping us alive ❤️❤️
hi man, did u get the chance to test if gear swapping is possible during combat?
I did, and you can't swap gear in combat. You need to be completely out of combat to switch gear.

Nah in previous tests it stacked in ABILITY use
@@BlackoutGamingChannel oh I see, I think it is better as a tank to stack it when you get hitted, but when ever solo when you hit, hard one )
@@HrapVideoGames I think that Legionary is not a pure tank because remember his passive also gives bonus damage
Is there anything except forest and small village? Also looks like it want be very playable solo.
There was more, but that needs a separate video to discuss
just want to know if there is a date for an open beta or something of the sort.
