Hi..does it matter which way the eyes on the tensioner pulley face up or dwn?..seen some that are facing up and some dwn.
Bottom for a 7 bolt and Top for a 6 bolt
How many hours of labor for the timing, balance shaft belt and water pump?
Doing it outside, 30-1 hour. Doing it in the car 2-3 hours
Think of both cam gears as 2 clocks. So when I bought my 1998 gst, my timing marks on both cams are at 5 o'clock. What would that mean?
Is that with the dowel pins facing up?
@@DaimerPerez I made a mistake. Both dowel pins are at 5 o'clock. Both timing marks are at 1 o'clock
@@djack2058 so with piston 1 being at TDC and both dowel pins facing up, the timing marks are facing 5 a clock? message me on instagram if you can, is in the description or in dsm tunners just search my name
So to set the timing you just turn to tdc???
