I so love seeing mops and buckets included as props in the choreography!! I'm remembering when a Broadway revival left out the buckets...kids were great, but those buckets just had to be there!! Well done!
Growing up in the 70's and 80's, Annie and Grease were my go-to musicals. I love to see the way Annie has evolved. The talent in this production is mind-blowing, from the choreography to the singers. It brings awe-inspired tears to my eyes to see this beloved part of my childhood reach new heights!

These ladies look a smidge older than the characters they are playing - pre-teen at the very youngest, and likely some short, very young adults in there - and I've seen some fantastic dancing done by that age group.
Her voice is amazing. When she gets older it’s going to be even bigger-I think she will end up a mezzo with a huge range. Very clear tone. Amazing diction. Good acting. Good presence.
Tessa frascogna is a beautifull talented dancer and her face is very expressive! I dream to leave from Italy to Usa, for watching a musical like this one!

And I think some actors also had hidden mics on their chests as well. In addition to other hidden mics that surrounded the stage itself for additional support. There's quite a lot of musicals/stage plays that do this you know. 🎤☺️

While these girls are all fantastic dancers, this production also shows that they put too much focus on that part, making the acting and singing weaker parts. It's incredibly hard to find children who are great at acting, dancing and singing solo. The dancing is great, but the acting performances make the emotional storytelling weak and that's a bummer
While this is a deep song, it has a very upbeat tone, so they’re just emulating that. They are amazing singers though especially if you look at the other songs in the musical

They intentionally tearing down one group to attempt to bring up another, knowing that it will cause animosity and they literally don't care. Why are they intentionally destorying everything that happens to have a white main character? Even Historical Figures like Cleopatra who was a Greek Caucasian woman who actually lived is being portrayed as Black. This is not the proper way to go about this.

Yeah this was a mess. Too angry. Bizarre orchestrations and the dance moves were way too hootchie momma/ club night/acrobatic circus to be the musical "Annie" It is well understood that "Annie" is a strict stereotype casting and when that is altered it just falls out if bed. No matter how good anyone is in the role. It is based on a comic strip that has its own post Hoover/ stock market crash damaged USA message. Its also a period old world Pre-war setting so it is a rather difficult show to play around with.The same with Oliver. The musical spirit however transcends in set numbers...but the entire dramatic effect of the show is a minefield to reimagine.
