I love it but I decided to house rule the event phase in order to see the upcomming event 1 round before it happens. Gets more fun... and fair for everyone! Also a go to solo for me too! My problem with the gems is not being able to differ the blue from the green with my poor game table lighting! Thanks for the honest review! Love your format!
Not many rules in the rulebook because a lot of text on the cards? How much reading is there? Solitaire is not my thing anyway but i was curious how satisfying is that combo activation.
My husband and I enjoy this one for what it is, but I really hate that they used blue and green gems for this. Really? Out of all of the other colors, you had to pick blue and green, Portal? In low light, they are virtually indistinguishable for me. Thanks for the video, Luke!
I really like this mechanic of the pyramid triggering cascade. Is there other games doing that apart from Mountain King? Thank you for your answers
I'm not personally aware of any, it's not a common thing.

100% agree that distinguishing blue from green is a challenge!
Yeah many have complained about the gems.
Love the channel and nice review. I get why you don’t love it but at the end of a long day with a tired addled brain the quick simple play is a treat!
I can get that, but then other little games can do the same - the Oniverse games in particular.
Little rules mistake: when you place a card, you don't activate all the cards above it, but only one in each level, making a way to the ground floor.
Just worded it wrong, I've played that way normally.

Not a lot of reading at all really. These aren't complicated abilities.
Thank you for the good review. How would you compare this game to Super Motherload if you have played it?
Not played it, I wouldn't mind trying it.
I still have yet to buy any Imperial Settlers game, but I plan to, based on Luke's like of Empires of the North.
EotN is the recommended one of the lot.

You're welcome and agreed - the gems are a bad idea.
Absolutely zero interaction slightly killed this for me. Good puzzle but bit of a shame there wasnt a tad more to it.
It is what it is, but what it is isn't mind blowing.
