Weapons are sometimes born in the village. A child with that horn becomes a monster as he grows up, so it's a story of an ethnic group that has a custom of having to give it to heaven as a sacrifice when symptoms begin to appear ...

bakuiさんの描く焦りとか怒りみたいな感情が大きく揺さぶられてる時の表情、めちゃくちゃクる
理由も分からぬまま繰り返し再生し、やっと自分がこの作品にひどく魅せられていたことに気づきました。
彼らの角が、生まれる以前から早贄として運命づけられた彼らを貫く枝の直喩であることに、抗いがたいやるせなさと、逆説的ですがのたうつ人間の意地のようなものを感じました。

Bakuiさんの作品の人が葛藤していたり自然が広大だったり子供が可愛かったりそういうのが全部刺さって気が狂います…。世界観とか設定がめちゃくちゃ気になるけど知らずに動画と音楽だけ感じていたいでも知りたい！！映画化してほしいでもこのままがいい！！と葛藤してしまいます…。凄く好きです。

神秘的なのに近代的で、ノスタルジックなのにどこか未来感を覚えるこの作品が好きです……音楽も映像も完全に独立してて、bakuiさんからしか摂取できない栄養素が詰まっているなあと……
子どもたちが楽しそうに遊んでるシーンはとても微笑ましいのに、NIEのタイトルと背景にある百舌鳥の速贄が彼女の行く末を表しているのがつらいです…
