Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a special invitation to attend the celebrations as the Guest of Honour on July 14. This is a rare distinction, as France does not extend invitations to foreign dignitaries as chief guests annually. Bastille Day, also known as 'Fête Nationale,' is France's national day commemorated on July 14 each year, marking a significant moment in French history.

What a shame. Indian soldiers are marching in the tune of Pakistan's national song written by the staunch proponent of Pakistan Iqbal where Hindustan meant the areas of Bharat occupied by the Muslim invaders.
Indian regimental music is the choice of the Indian Army and is performed by Indian soldiers.
