When Will Splatoon 3 Get a Testfire?

For real though, there's more frequent videos on the way!
So, we strangely still haven't gotten a testfire, but... maybe there's a reason for that. Maybe not though. Heck a testfire may come out tomorrow or next week! I'm just here to speculate and go through some possible release dates for a possible testfire!

I feel like it'll be more like Splatoon 1's testfire being only a week or two from release, Splatoon is a big thing it's not like a small IP that isn't worth excessive coverage so I'm pretty sure we'll get a direct and testfire eventually.
I agree I don’t think we will get one. And I’d rather be surprised to be wrong than disappointed to be right 😭
It's most likely we won't due to how little has been shown so far but a world premiere would be a nice second option
Definitely! I wouldn't mind this either! I'd just be sad that I wouldn't be able to play early or give feedback...
If there would be a testfire, I think the weapons that would be options for it would be the splattershot, roller, bow and whatever new weapon that they haven't shown off yet that they're hiding from us, or the dualies
That would kinda make sense. Especially since the bow already is a type of charger.
Splatfest world premiere was a really good way to get people to play and enjoy Splatoon right before its release so they will buy the game. I wish we'll still gonna get a global test fire. And it would be really cool if they bring back something like the specials squids for Splatoon Research Lab team that you could randomly have in your lobby. They were literal splatoon divelopers to play along side with you!

but the truth is... there are actually some people who don't even know splatoon 3 is coming out, the marketing is killing the game lol
Man, I can’t wait for the testfire!
I feel like there might be 3 different possibilities for some kind of early version/testfire for splatoon 3, like a special demo that would likely be similar to splatoon 2’s special demos from 2019 and 2020, or of course, the good old testfire or splatfest world premiere, or we’ll just not get any kind of early demo for the game. Whatever happens, I’m ok with it, since the game is releasing in less than 2 months and I’ve already pre-ordered it. I still really hope that splatoon 3 will not disappoint us after all the hype and excitement we’ve been going through leading up to the game. Also props to you for using stick controls, I almost never see anyone use them!
Yeah! I can see all of those things happening honestly. I feel like people are in such a rush to play the game early that they think we need testfires. Honestly the game is so close to release at this point that it kinda seems trival to do one in a way. Still want it, but I can see why we haven't got one.
And thanks for the props hah. Everyone seems to hate stick controls and I get why because they make you able to move your camera less, but I enjoy it for some reason lol.
The Splatoon Twitter has been giving directions on how to play, so a test fire can be announced at any moment! Maybe, just like you said, the devs might be confident, and the game is on the same console, but (also like you said) it will bring attention to people who haven't played Splatoon before, and get people exited for the release of the game! (Also, Nintendo isn't afraid of allowing people to play for free for a bit with the yearly demos, so why wouldn't they give out a test fire demo now?)

I want a test fire but like you said I feel like they don’t need one yk? I feel like they just intend to keep drip feeding us content cause nintendo knows what they’re doing and they def didn’t change servers or anything of the sort. It’ll probably be a world premiere like you said bc they’re doing very little to stir up hype for this game when it comes to marketing, we still don’t know if we’re getting new idols lol so a world premiere would probably be the best time for us to get a feel for that if it makes sense

I do hope that we will be getting a testfire of some sort! I do think it’ll be closer to release, maybe sometime in August? Hopefully this time I’ll be able to play if they do release one! I missed Splatoon 2’s when it came out, so I’m excited!

The Splatoon 3 Devs are probably like "Wow! With all this development time our game is running great! No problems here, I don't even think we need a Testfire. We're just going to do our last touch ups now before the release on September 9th"

Hey Nack, great vid. Don't feel bad about using sticks. I use them. While I'm not great by any means, I'm okay enough. You don't have to be the greatest using sticks. If that's what you feel most comfortable doing then you're doing your best.

I don't think we'd get one, as you said the other games' testfires were primarily made to promote the new console. If we DO get one, I'd be surprised, but it would probably make sense as to fit the trend of Splatoon testfires as well.

my personal thought is the Nintendo meine pland it so thet the Splatoon 3 Oled will relise first so the people the pertust the console can get the express of the testfire
as someone who switched from stick controls to motion controls less than a month ago, switching isn’t that hard if you look up a good tutorial
Youre probably right. I used to use motion in Splat 1 anyways, so relearning it should be easy enough! I just haven't had the real need to switch over
