I think to add on from what Saga said, is that she's pretty selective with jobs and also runs a couple of businesses (well, the farm and then Samuels sweets store). I also think since Jeffrey works away in Georgia a lot, she's kind of taken a back seat which is why she mostly just does the Lifetime movies and focuses on her kids.
She doesn't like LA so imagine that at times played a factor in parts she chose or wanted to fly to audition for. Plus all the above mentioned could have also. I wish her and Jensen and jareds familes all did a walking dead spin off. Or that couldnt be done a short mini saviors prequel series.

I see here that she has a natural, edgy, bold, beautiful energy! And, yet, when she plays a sensitive woman in love, I am just stunned, mouth open, in a trance, watching a living work of art...spellbound.
