Doniel YT I’ve only played a contra once, never played a sousa, but I can tell those notes and tips are skilled as fuck just based on my octave knowledge, I’m a trombone, tubas natural range is an octave below, that makes those notes within the double and triple range, one of the hardest physical feats on trombone is ripping the triple f and other notes like that, similar to trumpet screaming
Music Channel! I can’t stop falling in love with the bass clarinet in my opinion. I play it myself in my local community band. Music is my number one passion and I love expressing in many different ways. And coming back to this song again the shirt is still terrifying.
Super stuff! Incredible arrangement of notes🎶 I even hear some from an 'old like type' -- Ennio Morrocone Western Movies .. one of those - Fistful of Dollars or, hey .. A Few Dollars More! Gosh! Ya know what I mean! And, im Irish! But, Dad loved the old westerns! Talkin about dollars, eh, hope they're .. rrrrolling in! Hmm, 🎷🎶🔥
need some help it’s either double or triple in Sousa notes, I’m a trombone player and a tubas natural range is an octave down, if my pitch is right he is ripping through some absolutely insane high registers and using a sort of forceful lip slur. It’s not to hard to do on trombone but I’d imagine it’s a lot harder on Sousa
Norm Storm XD that’s a very taboo thing to get mixed up, it’s effectively a clarinet but based an octave or two down, like what a tuba is to a trombone
turn down those cymbals like wtf how loud and harsh are they hahahaha. Is literally the only thing I can think of that's not PINCH PERFECT in this video. Well done lads :)
the bass clarinet sousaphone combo is amazing!
Such a melodic bass clarinet and trombone combo
Avery Bondeson daro Josh have been working that melody together since the beginning, I love it. They are truly in tune and in synch
That's an awesome lead trumpet part!!!! Love that high G
*My new favorite song from The Lucky Chops!*
I strive to be as good as this absolute lad
I name none for they all have talent that I'm jealous of
This such a well written track 10/10
😂😂👊👍👍
OMG BUYO IS THE BEST SOUSA PLAYER EVER (for me)

Daros tone on the bass clarinet is so awesome
20th time watching, I just realize how terrifying that McDonald’s shirt is.
I love that guy, his crazy energy is what I like.

@@mriaschug5432 Lol. I think so too. The trombone is really emotional. I think he is my favorite out of all of them
😂😂damn
Dude Buyo went mad on the sousa, he's such an awesome player
finally got a good listen of this song outside of concert 👍👍👍👍
Christopher what about the album?
@@sliicc2160 I like it but it doesn't quite hit like the raw recording of these boys playing it. I can imagine its breathtaking live.

My Goodness.... What a wonderful show of all of their talents. Lucky Chops.... that's an understatement...
It is so beautiful and deep ❤🎷
this song's about peace & love & humanity in the world. That's what Daro said.
Someone will come along to say how it's not the same without Leo, but whatever, this song has a sweet as hell groove to it.

When josh first hit that high note I got goosebumps
Trumpet sounds awesome
Beautiful. Outstanding. I love it. Great work, guys!
Daro is a beast on bass clarinet, or any woodwind for that matter!
simplesmente tocam muito. sou fã de vocês.
So good
The hottest session I've ever seen.
Just mesmerizing...
Thank you guys.
He plays tenor (in other vids) AND bass clarient?! God damn!
Jamie Hollaway 😂 he plays a lot more than that too😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Daro plays; Alto, Tenor, Bari Sax, Flute, Bb, Bass, and Contrabass Clarinet
@@TheMarMasterr it extends even beyond those. He has a lot of middle eastern instruments he also plays
Well I'm glad I stayed up later than I planned on! It's videos like this that keep me on TH-cam lol so great

I like to band
Where have you been...
Love it!
Anybody knows how the Buyo plays his like sort of little solo thing in the song? This might be a dumb answer but I just wanted to know.
I think its when you rapidly ascend on high notes. Look it up I think it is called a rise.
It sounds to me like a lip fall but it could have a rise mixed in with the fall.
It's hard to do, I kinds of got some of this solo down but man its so freaking hard (for me at least)

How can I make that sound @2:15 😂
@brandon sisk if it's for the sousaphone you gotta have good tone pitch (I'm assuming because I'm trying as well)
What is that first instrument the guy is playing...A sax of some kind...
bass clarinet
There’s always one of you
Norm Storm XD that’s a very taboo thing to get mixed up, it’s effectively a clarinet but based an octave or two down, like what a tuba is to a trombone
Love the political aspect of this song, and I love the song itself
Grant Mitchell politics XD where?
@@themoniathansnest5404 The song was written for the indigenous people of Standing Rock and their fight against the Dakota access pipeline
How I didn’t realize that there was bass clarinet in this song is past me. I feel dumb
they should put this version on Appel music
turn down those cymbals like wtf how loud and harsh are they hahahaha.
