Those tanks make great shelter. I think cutting the bottom out and build a wood platform with wheels for easy moving and a couple hinges for easy cleaning would be nice.
Those brown sheep are just Adorable !
That is what I love about your family. You take great care of your animals. I never heard of carrots and pickles in a jar. I am going to try that. Your garden is doing wonderful. It makes me hungry for vegges. I will keep little bear in my prayers. The recreation building for the Community is big and beautiful. The children sure love it. The lambs are so sweet. I want to get one. My husband said no. 😂❤❤❤
Little bear 🙏🙏🧸🧸
Prayers
Giggle, giggle giggle I am hysterical wanting you with your white box. I think I had to put it out in the sun where the plastic could get warm before I tried to mold it.. but I’ve never been on a farm and I’ve never had to deal with that. Sure is..
I am lovin that garden!!! Bella is just the cutest❤
Hi Gary maybe next time u might try taking a hairdryer and heating the plastic to get the dents out.. .Good luck
Prayers for Little Bear to end up were the God Lord knows he should be and that he gets to feeling better real soon.
You are a man of many talents from canning pickles to making shelters for the farm babies. Benjamin should be happy spending time with his future mates. God’s blessings
Praying for little bear and also for Ranger while he is away at teen camp. I pray for your whole family daily, but I wanted to send the special one up for healing and protection also.
my Dad said that before WW2 they had Bard rock hens and after they started using leghorn there were 3 hatcheries when i was in school Dad would get 50 roosters if you bought 100 lbs of feed they gave you 50 roosters there re none now there also was 3 butcher shops in town i remember taking hogs in and for $10. each to process them whole for a hog roast
Good morning beautiful people! It is so wonderful to see the kids listening, and teaching what they learned peacefully 😂! Bella is a great addition to the homestead! Your garde is beautiful!
Enjoyed this video- thanks for posting 🤩 Prayers for Little Bear - hope that he is all better soon 🙏❤️ Your garden looks beautiful 😍 !!! That new Community Center is amazing- I’m sure all the kids will love going there 😎🌞👏🏻
Feel better lil Bear 🐻🐻. Those baby sheep 🐑🐑🐑 are so darn cute. Good Bless your whole family ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Keeping Little Bear in prayers for health and well-being with the system. Know he's in the best of care with you & Cassie & the children! 🙏💜🙏
Prayers little bear 🐻 feels better soon❤
Sounds like teething time. Bella is so ready for her herding job. Great job preserving food. So quick separating sheep. Love the videos. Blessings 🙏🫶🙏🫶
The pickles look delicious. I've never had pickled carrots but have had pickled squash. That's a nice center for the kids to have camp in. Good job separating the babies from their Moms. Prayers for Little Bear. GOD bless y'all.
With those green tomatoes, you ought to make some Fried Green Tomatoes..yummy. Good to see you all. Love you guys ❤
Green fried tomatoes are great and fried okra is great also
When I "can" jalapenos I don't like them processed in a canner because they get mushy. I boil the brine, dry pack the clean jar and pour the boiling brine over the jalapenos and put the lid on tight. If you want carrots without a big deal, just grow them in a large container that's deep enough and you won't need so much sand either. Just mix it with some garden soil and the pot will drain well! Blessings, Texas Deb ❤
The new day camp building is awesome, love fresh garden food. Your garden looks great. The sheep are so adorable, I see why Cassie would want them. Prayers for little Bear 🐻 to feel better soon. Take care and stay strong. God bless
"Beautiful" Video, Walker Family...
🍅🥒🌶...
I'll Be Praying For Your Little Bear's Journey... 🥲... I hope he's feeling better soon,
🙏🙏🙏...
I always find that my tomatoes do better leaving the branches alone. The leaves help keep my tomatoes from getting sun burned. I only prune the leaves and branches that begin to get blight so they don't disease the whole plant.
I thot I was the only one liked pickled carrots. Lol. Ty
Pickled green beans are awesome too awesome video as always be safe out there and God bless
Love pickle carrots! I also like to add onions and jalapeños too! Nothing better than a beef torta (sandwich) with pickled carrots. We cut the carrots in circles when done with the jalapeños. Bet Ransom would love it . Prayers for Little Bear to get better 🙏. Have fun at camp, kids!
Good morning! I’m looking forward to viewing this video later. I have to go to work shortly. Have a great day!
You too!
LoveGrandma, I know how that goes 😊
Oh my Gary…..I’m so proud of you….CANNING!! That’s amazing. I bet those pickles and the carrots are going to be tasty. The garden looks wonderful. I can’t imagine growing a garden without watering twice a day, morning and evening when the sun doesn’t hit the plants. (Burn them…..yicks)
I'm screaming "the heat gun Gary" 😂Bless you! Your a good stay at farm Dad! ❤🙏🏼
Well, you guys may not be ready for another full time baby boy; but, if he can't have the love and care he gets from you all; I'd love to see your baby, become a big brother! You guys are awesome people. I love watching each video you share. Hugs from Texas.
May the good Lord Bless you Gary and your family. You are all a great Christian family and it shows by the way you speak and your actions. You will be blessed accordingly !!😅🙏👍💞
♥️🙏😊☀️😎👍👋
I love to a dill pickled veggies salad (called giardiniera) that I buy. It is carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, celery and onions. Very tasty. ❤
Hope little bear recovers soon. And prayers for a good foster journey for him xx
Different parts of the country are so different. In Michigan they always said your corn should be knee high by the 4th of July. Your growing season is much longer.
I used to love canning. Now I'm not able in several ways. Kudos to you and all that know the art of canning.😊😊😊
Prayers for Little Bear that he will soon be back to good health. I really like that you do canning. I love canning. and it is good that the sheep have an area they can be in while being weined. And Benjy gets to know his playmates. The Community Centre is really great! Looks like it will get a lot of use!🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Praying for Little Bear,enjoyed watching,have a bless😊👍🌻❣️🌷
Great video...seeing the pickling process.... The new sports complex....like he shelter for the animals.....Hope little Bear gets better soon...Stay safe and see you on the next one
Camilla LOVES the carrots…… I still can’t get into pickled carrots. BUT we are going to need some pickles
I am having my 4 th back surgery July the 8 th so all prayers are appreciated thank you. I have watched all your episodes on Walker Farm Fam and Catching up with Walkers for about 2 years and enjoy it so much. Please keep it up as I kinda live through you as I am pretty much house bound because of all my back problems. Thank you again
You doing this on your own brought up a memory of watching women in a large kitchen canning endless (to me) jars of fresh veggies. Doing things together has many benefits that we have forgotten. It wasn't just family but community used the have this too .
You could put in a raised bed in your garden for growing carrots and some other root veggies. You have 100% of the control over the soil in the bed. Plus they're higher off the ground which has been helpful as I've aged.
What a wonderful facility. Feel better soon Little Bear! 🐻🧸
Good morning Gary and Cassie. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Good morning. I've never pickeld carrots. I think I will have to try that now.. love watching you all. God bless.🎉
I would suggest that you don’t use those baby carrots, I did and they were awful
My favorite thing to do with green tomatoes is to batter them and fry them, and I also love pickled green tomatoes. Just cut them into a little bit of smaller pieces. Not too small and pickle them the way you do your other pickled stuff. I like about 4 hot peppers in them. I promise you will thank me later if yall like picked stuff. I am from SC, and we pickle everything, okra, asparagus, and even watermelon.
My nephew brought the first pickled okra sister's and I had ever had, from his Mom in SC. Delicious!! Nothing like that in a store.
@bettyhutcheson9318 my Grandpa always made the best pickled okra and pickled green tomatoes. I wish I would have gotten his recipe before he passed. I've never found any like his since he passed.
Do you put hot peppers in your carrots? I do and they are the best 😊
Yes!
Try zuçchini relish it's awesome
My gran said if you pickle spices used the veggies then its called pickling ,, if not using those spices its canning. I'm 72 and that was what my grandma said..❤
👍🏼
Hey WFF, you did a fine job canning your pickles, Gary🎉.
I always put carrots in with my hot peppers , so delicious YumO.
I missed why Ransome was mad with you about the pickles😢.
The TV froze and didn't come back, where it left off😡.
😢.
That is a gorgeous facility👍.
Whoo Hoo the Corn is tasiling 🎉.
I hope there isn't too much blatting😳.
JO JO IN VT 💞
He doesn’t want to wait until they are ready to eat.. a couple weeks
👍 My grandmother taught me how to can and have been doing it for 60 years. Always get comments from people because I’m a male doing “ women’s” work. Oh well😂😂😂😂
I love to eat so I don’t mind cooking or canning 🤣
I love your beautiful wooden cabinets and that back splash is gorgeous! I really like the natural looking color scheme. Unlike all the gray that is so out of style, yet still used by many. Gray reminds me of depressing places like prisons, urban areas like parking garages, and just ugly IMO! While wood and natural colors like green and brown makes me feel warm and happy :) Nice job canning your pickles! I've never had pickled carrots except in the mixed vegy pickles we used to buy. Mazzy has gotten so tall and outgoing. So grown up now. She'll be grown up in a blink of an eye. blessings~
Everyone was going painted white cabinets when we built our home. We stuck with wood.
Gary, did you make some sweet pickles? 🥒 Those are my favorite 😍. Bella is a beautiful pup! We have a Miniature Australian and her name is Bella. Going on nine years old.
Try to stay away from the extra sugar or I would
Have fun with your lame ❤😊😮.
Too bad you can't hear us say; Gary get your heat gun to make the plastic more pliable so you can reform it. Then spray down with cold water to set it.
Though you did a good job doing it your way too.
Is Bella losing hair on her back and rump area on top? Hope she doesn't have allergies! ❤😊
No, it’s brown hair in those areas and black others
Praying for Little Bear 🐻 😊
i like to measure tomatoes by how well a slice will fit on bread for a sandwich...lol...those pickles and carrots looks great
They look delicious Garry you’re a great animal dad
Beautiful facility. Enjoy basketball camp. Prayers for little bear.
God bless y'all I have a suggestion for you the old dented shep house put it in the sun and it will be easier to get back to the shape and once you get it back Cool it down real quick God bless y'all keep doing what y'all do just saying 😎..
What a fantastic facility for the community!
15:28 YUM, I'd be making fried green tomatoes!!
Enjoyed watching and prayers that Little Bear feels well soon. Love y'all
We pickled carrots, cauliflower and onions together. ❤Gary you continue to amaze me. How do you put so much into one day? No naps, no breaks. Hummm that we know of. Lol❤ God Bless you. You straightening the shelter was hilarious.
Glad the kids have somewhere to go for summer activities
Sorry Gary but I couldn't stop laughing at you while you were inside that shelter popping the sides back out.
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! 😅😅😅❤
Very nice facility for the kids and community. Your pickling looks really good. I. Might have to try the carrots. Thanks Gary and Cassie.
I agree, you are indeed a man of many talents. Another enjoyable day with the Walkers.
Excellent job 🎉and I ❤pickles and I drink the chilled pickle juice that supports good "Gut Health"

Hello Gary, that is so cool that you can, take care of the animals, the garden & everything else you do. You & Cassie are amazing & awesome ppl. Your videos are so fun to watch I feel that I am right there with you all! You & Cassie are great parents❤ even this
grandma wishes she could do the things you. But unable to due to health reasons. The girls are like where did mom & everyone go, you left use behind. That went pretty smooth with you doing it by your self, good job!!!😊 Take care Gary , Cassie & family & 🙏🤗☺✝️😋✌ 🙏 for little bear gets to feeling better. Bye & God Bless 😊❤
Pickled carrots are amazing!!
Small dill and regular sliced dill pickles can’t beat them
You can always make batches of spaghetti sauce with the red tomatoes..
Pickled green tomatoes slices
Everything canned/put up is just the best especially when you have past the time of being able to walk out to the garden for dinner
So canning is just a wonderful benefit for your family..
Prayers lil bear feels better quickly, summer uck is just no fun
Can’t believe how big the 3 amigos have already gotten..
Bella is looking good, she’s already got the idea what she’s supposed to do..
Love you all..
Your pickles look awesome❣️ I’ve only made bread & butter pickles with my sister-in-law. They are the best!
Tell Ransom he's lucky to only have to wait 2 weeks for the pickles to cure. At my house, we wait until Thanksgiving to pop open the first sealed jar.
Prayers for little.bear. asking for prayers ive been hospitalized since sunday
i tell kis i id 13 years of kindergarten because you et a nap not in any of the other grades Kindergarten means Kinder is German for children and garden is for growing them
Hey Gary, have you ever made fermented carrots! They are super. I don’t think I would have ever talked my husband into trying his hand at canning. I know lots of men do though. 🥰
Enjoyed your video and seeing the animals ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love the canning process ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seeing your corn already over 5 ft tall is amazing to me. Here in eastern Canada our saying is knee high by the 4th of July will be good. Only planted 2 weeks ago. We can only plant things that grow quickly. Very short growing season. 🥰🇨🇦 🌽
Love your corn. Each time you show it I think about Wisconsin Gardner's goal of "knee high by the 4th(of July)" My garden is in pots. Just got the pots out in the garden area last night. Should be warm enough for the plants now. Down to 48 at night.
We canned apples, pears, peaches, cherries, prunes plumbs, corn, green beans, and sometimes beef. A bushel basket full at a time. We grew some and purchased from local farmers. We also made corned beef in a 10 gallon crock on the back porch. Mom may have done pickles but I don’t like them so I don’t remember. Only by canning did we eat as healthy as we did.
We slice cucumbers and onions put them in a bowl with vinegar, salt, pepper, oil, and water. Let it sit for a few hours and start eating do it every summer and it’s good stuff y’all try that see how you like it just put it in the refrigerator. I came up to Lawton Ok every. Summer and my Grandma made them.
If you could’ve done that when ranger was home, he would’ve found that fun. Stretching out the bent up Plastic house would’ve been so fun for him.
“Where there’s a will there’s a way. I don’t know if I got enough will or way, though.” Funniest thing I heard in a long time! I hear you! 😂
I know you are busy, but I am surprised your garden isn't even bigger. Canning is very time consuming, but the end product is so delicious. Does Cassie work off the farm all summer? Most teachers get some much needed time off. Gary inside the plastic house looked like he was trying to fight his way out of a plastic bag!
I never prune my tomato plants. From 6 plants I canned 52 qts of tomatoes, had lots for fresh eating and shared lots with 4 neighbors. I had big tomatoes clear up until the first frost in Mid October
Hi Gary and Cassie, Those are some blessed people who get your eggs on egg day LOL, Its always good to have the kids involved in activities they love to do. I hope the lambs get through this fast LOL God bless you all Prayers for Little Bear, and until next time take care
Never had pickle carrots. I'm going to have to try this. Enjoy your day.
Hi Gary and Cassie. I think your garden looks awesome. Sorry that little bear isn't feeling well. I know that when my grandson was in day care he was not feeling well a lot, just like little bear. God bless.
Had lots of pickled stuff. My mother made pickled cukes, carrots and green beans. Even beets. Yum
I wonder if you used your heat gun on shelter #2--as it softens, pull out/pound out the damaged sites. I bet Ransom would hold it for you while you pounded! Thanks for making an effort to reuse!
Welcome to the Howdy God Bless you and your Family and your Fur Babies ✌️💜🙏
I made the splat burger for lunch today with onions out of my garden. My tomatoes are not ripe yet either but I will have plenty of them.
The splat burger was yummy. Thanks for the idea.
First time I’ve ever heard of canning carrots. Sending prayers for Little Bear.
Thanks again for another awesome video I really enjoyed it and as always I'm really looking forward to seeing the next video
You Are doing a good job Nd thank you for sharing with us looks delicious God Bless!!
I bet any extra tomatoes you get the pantry would love. Especially home grown.
Great facility for families
When I was a kid almost everything we ate was raised on the farm. Mom canned a lot of things plus we butchered our own beef and hog!
