1. Log in to the CounterACT device CLI.
2. Run: fstool passwd
The following message appears:
Current admin password:
3. Enter the current admin password.
The following message appears:
New admin password:
4. Enter a new password, between 6 and 24 characters (default).
5. Press Enter. The following message appears:
New admin password (confirm):
6. Re-enter the password and press Enter. The following message appears:
User 'admin' password updated

How do i access root in forescout? I have the root credentials but it says password incorrect, but im sure the password is correct.

Hi thanks for sharing you concern, so when you are doing shell it's working as a root, here in forescout we call it shell.
if you want to login shell/root
just type "shell"
it's prompt for "cliadmin password"
then type current password and you will logged in to root.
