    How did you end up with large gaps in corners on floor planks.
    Can't we cut the planks much near to the skirtings

      You’re exactly right! I had those huge gaps due to improper measuring.
      And therefore every DIY’s infamous phase, “measure twice, cut once” :)
      But remember, if you don’t remove the baseboards, don’t cut the planks so they are flush against them. As you’ll still need to hammer it into the previous board, and that requires around half an inch or so of space
      In the video where I show me installing the flooring, I call myself out for that mistake :(
