Thank you for the videos! I’m actually building the same bike myself. Your videos really help me save some time! My biggest challenge is that I do not have as much space as you do, so I have to think of some clever solutions to just be able to get parts off and have enough work space :) I wish you good luck, looking forward to your result!
Posting this for the algorithm and also to let you know that your videos are serving as a quick-reference guide as mine is torn apart. I've just decided to use the stock wire harness instead of the mo.unit but will be using the motoscope mini. Thank you so much for these detailed videos. Doing my carb this coming weekend.
I'm guessing this is a Diversion? I have a 1991 XJ600F 3KM5, the version prior to the Diversion. Anyone know if they have the same carbs on both models? I'm not sure since the Diversion has them pointed up, the 3KM5 model has them horizontally. Edit: I was wrong! It is a pre-Diversion one in the video too, although it is pretty heavily modified! You can tell by the aforementioned carb angle and the shape of the tank. That's great because I'm going to be taking apart and cleaning my own carbs tomorrow and now I can prepare for the right bike!
Hi Daniel. I have a set of NOS carbs that came with the bike when I bought it 7 years ago. Can I simply fit them or do I need to make any adjustments before fitting them?
I really like your reuse approach! It´s amazing how often you can get things running just by cleaning and refreshing. The old original parts are often very high quality, so if youre only careful and cautious when disassembeling they are often fine! Fun and insipiering videos, and good closeups! Keep it up! How is your license coming on???? :)
Bad, if i decide to take it, it will not be untill next summer. Or i might sell the bike and move on to other projects. Ive got something planned but we will see if that comes through
@@obs301 You can´t seriously put that kind of effort into the project whithout getting the reward of riding! It´s a really nice bike and kicks ass above 6000 rpm! Go get that license!!! :)

Muy buen vídeo, detallista y muy bien trabajado. Me ha venido de lujo para reparar los de mi Yamaha Xj600 51j de 1985
Hope you notice this comment, I just wanted to know where you got your carb diaphragm membrane. I am having a hard time looking for the exact one.
Thanks
Great video.
Does the exhaust wrap serve any purpose other than athestics?
