Thank you so much for making this series. I watched every video and learned a lot. Great project and great results. And you are very humble which makes your project even greater. A good inspiration as i recently started with the same project. Thanks 👍
Regarding the front brakes...put the bike on the side stand...undo the screws on the reservoir and turn the bars to the left, so the reservoir is at its highest point. Pull the brake lever in and then get some cable ties and tie it off so the lever stays pulled in. Leave it over night and all excess air should rise out of the system. You should have a better feel then. Great job by the way!
Hello, I have a motorcycle, I'm from Mexico, but I have a problem, it's hard to start when cold, and once it starts, it accelerates by itself and the revs go to the top, and suddenly it turns off
Great to finally see the bike on the road -congratulations! Looks supernice and not over engineered, but with a good riding spirit :) Would be nice to hear your reaction to what happens when you give it what it needs -nothing happens ´til you rev it over 6000 rpm! Now tell me please, why do you have such an issue with getting your license???? (besides loosing it again ;) Welcome out on the roads!
Hi pal, I've just built one of these xj600 cafe racers and I have an issue with the fueling now due to using the cone filters 'flat spots' have you had this problem?
@@obs301 I rode the bike when it was completely standard and it ran perfectly but since removing the original air box and replacing that with the cone filters like you have it now has a flat spot when I get it higher up in the rev range I'm wondering if I need to put different size jets in to suit the air filters?
@@321corsa Ah, i dont know. And although i think mine works perfectly i dont have much riding experience so i could not say. But the filters could be different I think these filters are abit less restrictive on airflow than the original setup so it could have something to do with that.
If you change the air filter you need to upgrade the main jet's. I wouldn't bother as Yamaha spent years and £££££s to get it right. Stick with the airbox is my advice
Hei. Fader så moro og se på, knall tøff dette må du være stolt av.. jeg har en 900 som gjøre litt om på. Det er vell ikke så store forskjellen på 600 å 900? lykke til videre.

Great build, great video. Totally under-estimated here with around 4.000 views. What shame. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Great Build! Thanks for sharing!
I got the same bike, your vids have really helped me, thank you.
Big thumb up for you. I'm making my own XJ600 51J cafe racer and your films are very usable. Greetings from Poland.
I saw the all series . Congrats you did it very well

Artig å se forskjellige bygg av en XJ600.
Fine videoer.👍
Looks great

I like that the headlight is tilted!
Dont tell anyone. I glued it on and did not check final alignment before glue settled.

If you are talking about the small inline fuel filter between tank and carbs, then no ive had no issues with that.

@@tamar5261 bit late for that I broke the airbox trying to remove it lol. I'll have to look at changing the main jets 👍
