Rails in the USA - Fall 2023 - Video No. 11: MOTORCADING THE DURANGO AND SILVERTON RAILROAD

This is the 11th video of a series taken on my five week tour of the U.S.A. in September and October 2023.
My last day of railfan activities in Colorado was spent motorcading the three regular service trains on the Durango and Silverton Railroad. A change had come through overnight and snow had fallen on the higher peaks. The day dawned cloudy but there were breaks of sunshine between some heavy showers of rain. The rail actions was great and the weather conditions made it more atmospheric. The day turned out to be a wonderful success.
