So kind of an interesting story... Had the pleasure of meeting BKXC in a bike store at Whistler the day after(?) they rode these trails. Great guy, and he even warned us to us to “be safe” as we said good-bye. We decided we didn’t like that advice, and instead did this... th-cam.com/video/std0mjSpzFI/w-d-xo.html Result for the first guy was a week in North Van ICU getting his organs put back together over 3 major operations (he’s still in the hospital 2 weeks later). I smashed my pelvis into my saddle, breaking both the saddle and my frame, but luckily not my bones. Some pretty decent battle scars though... Moral of the story is, these guys are pretty damn good riders, and they make these trails look easy. There are some high consequence areas that deserve your full attention before deciding to let er rip. Kudos to both Eric and Brian for making the videos they do. It’s those videos that inspire me to ride these gnarly areas. I just plan on doing it with a few new lessons learned from now on.
There's nothing like the sweet sweet noise of tires skidding on rock! Great to see you and BK together - can't wait to get up to Squamish and experience the fun!

Generally, the camera makes things look smoother and easier than what reality really is. So, with that being said, this looked insanely rough, narrow, steep, rocky, and did I mention rough!!! So, in reality, it was even more horribly wonderful than it looked in the video!!! Holy crap!! I was puckered up on my chair watching the whole thing. Seeing something this good, inspires and motivates me to go riding, doesn't it everyone??? The only problem is, you guys make all that tough stuff look so easy, that I attempt things way beyond my skill level. Lmao!!! Then I gotta fix something, buy new part(s), heal up, or a combination there of!!! Really good video, exceptionally entertaining!!! Y'all are the best! Heck, I'm goin for a ride, right now!

I think that’s the In and out burger slab that Bernard Kerr stoppied down?? If so that really puts that into perspective!!! Lol. Awesome video! Great content as always! 🤘🏼
It is... bonkers that Kerr did a stoppie down it, he was flying out the exit too, scary even with a DH bike and armour as the run out isn't very smooth and used to have a stump in it.
God those trails are brilliant... I was in Squamish mid july on vacation and did those Alice Lake trails over and over!! Entrails... credit line... bony elbows... in-n-out burger... I wanted to bring those back home in Quebec :( Props for the vids keep on sending it!!

Hey BC, just watched the Pemberton edit over on BK. Just a heads up that there is a better tail on to Cream Puff. It's called Stoked Chicken and it's off of Grumpy Grouse. 🤘 I built it for the Enduro this year.
BC what’s your setup on your Nomad in terms of stem length/height, stem spacers, bar height and frame size? I’ve been trying to dial myself in to be more comfortable on steeper terrain on my large Nomad (at 6ft) but can’t find the balance between going high up front for more confidence on steeps but then losing front end feeling (getting vague/loose feeling) on more traditional terrain. Wondering where people are ending up on avg.
BCpov cool, thanks for the reply. My norm has been 20mm (2cm) and trying 30mm but not totally sold on it yet. I’m thinking to try a 40mm stem vs my 50 as well but seems maybe counter productive to having the reach. I’m not quiet sure if I’m having a reach issue or a height issue for steeper descents. Didn’t realize you were running such a short stem.
I did just this weekend actually - tried Value Added which I started on but I ended up in "Grinch Toast" another rider confirmed that after I described the trail. Also Icy Hole of Death and finally Hueso - I'll come back to try In and out burger as well as Entrails. thanks again for your You Tube channel - helps me discover new trails to try.
You haven’t said much about the nomad since getting it and braking one 😂 I know you were thinking about going back to a 29er but how are you feeling about it now? I’ve had an hd3, insurgent, enduro, patrol and now the nomad and it’s easily better than all of those.
Amazing trail, great video, not just technical but also beautiful. Loved it but why is so red? Looks like your on Mars, don't take it the wrong way, still loving it.

I'm such a fan of Josh, Brian, you, Seth, Alex, Loam Ranger, phil, trail features, and the rest of the amazing guys off TH-cam how amazing would it be for all the creators to have a creator fest sometime where everyone meets up at some amazing trails and has a couple days of fun with vendors and a swap meet or something it would be huge and it would help out everyone's channels!!!

Really depends on you, but I've got a 35mm stem and a probably 1.5cm of spacers under the stem!

hi dennis! use lots of front brake and use just enough on the back so it doesn't skid!
