    I catch em with dried jelly fish whipping. Less plastic in the ocean is better, especially in Hawaii💯

    Dude just seen this but you can also use uv glue and uv light instead of nail polish

    Looking forward to giving this a try, but one question. A lot of other "guides" I've seen on making sabiki suggest using a different size line for the "branches". Like 12lb main / 8lb branch. Do you feel that's not necessary for Opelu?

      @commodore_connor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t and doing it that way takes a lot more time. Than a single # line

    Where do you get the flashy blue stuff from?

      Most fly tying shops should carry something like it. Or online

      I could supply some rigs at this point. Started tying some new designs that have been highly effective but they would cost more than the standard store bought sabikis

    Completely blocked the view on the second addition of ziploc plastic. Missed quite a bit of how to do the job.

    • @commodore_connor

      Haha with the amount of effort it takes to make these they would be very expensive relative to the store bought ones

    Gotta work on those angles and lighting. When you can't show a clear plan view of what you're doing, the description of what you're doing pretty much has to be podcast worthy. I personally can't use this video to learn something other than "damn, I need a bobbin."
