Looking forward to giving this a try, but one question. A lot of other "guides" I've seen on making sabiki suggest using a different size line for the "branches". Like 12lb main / 8lb branch. Do you feel that's not necessary for Opelu?
I could supply some rigs at this point. Started tying some new designs that have been highly effective but they would cost more than the standard store bought sabikis
Gotta work on those angles and lighting. When you can't show a clear plan view of what you're doing, the description of what you're doing pretty much has to be podcast worthy. I personally can't use this video to learn something other than "damn, I need a bobbin."
Part 2 with the fish finder please
I'll try to get one out in the next couple of weeks.
Another great and informative video. Do you have a link to your bobbin?
It’s called an EZ Bobbin!
That’s very creative!
Useful too!
I catch em with dried jelly fish whipping. Less plastic in the ocean is better, especially in Hawaii💯
Dude just seen this but you can also use uv glue and uv light instead of nail polish

I don’t and doing it that way takes a lot more time. Than a single # line
@@commodore_connor Cool, trying different techniques. Appreciate you uploading this. My wife was surprised to see I now own a bobbin haha.
Where do you get the flashy blue stuff from?
Most fly tying shops should carry something like it. Or online
Bradah the way u say opelu🤣😂
Got it fixed now lol
What is the size of hooks you are using?
I usually use size 10-12
@@commodore_connor thank you. Ill try to make my sabiki😊 be safe👍🏽 i love your videos
Can I make an order for 10 lines? Let me know, thank you !!

Yeah we’re interested
Currently working on it!
@@commodore_connor 🤙 appreciate it
Any for sale?
@@PA96704 I generally make them for personal use. Haven’t tried selling any
good content, but you need to focus in on your fly tying.
Completely blocked the view on the second addition of ziploc plastic. Missed quite a bit of how to do the job.
Yeah, new to getting camera angles right. Let me know if you have any questions and I can try my best to help.
Want to sell a few bait rigs?
Haha with the amount of effort it takes to make these they would be very expensive relative to the store bought ones
ya and I'm lazy..... nice work there- put a price on it and see what happens🤷🏼♂️
@@richardgabriel7731 I’ve played around with the flies and have a very effective one I’ve been tying recently. Would you be interested still?
