  • Darren Wallace finished a life sentence, 20 years. He now lives and works back home in Limerick after educating himself. Interesting conversation on a tough topic, murder.

Very honest and powerful interview, it can't be easy to share your stories. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say how thankful I am for the opportunity to listen and learn. Well done Darren, you're a credit to your mother Breda, she's a phenomenal mentor and advocate for families impacted by imprisonment 🙏

Edwin James would be good to get on. We have to get over our hysteria and listen more to hear and take Compassionate action when we witness a young person in difficulties. I hope the family who was bereaved take hope in the redemption

You know, it's so easy from the outside looking in to shake your head, judge & condemn people like Darren for their choices in life, then you hear the stories of their lives & realise that 'there but for the Grace of God go I'. Another deeply sobering conversation lads. Thank you. Rest In Peace Noel Carmody 🙏🏼

Very poor lads. This lad beat a teacher to death with an iron bar for no reason. Should not be given a platform. Disgusting for the victims family watching this.

He is diverting people off the path he was on, the point here is to have less victims in the future. He is doing his best to help fellas turn away from that life. There is a problem with violence, we can either choose to take practical steps to address it, or we can just comment on social media and hope it all works out. We are trying to be proactive, less victims, less violence, safer society.

I actually watch your podcasts and think they are very beneficial to people struggling with different types of issues. Just because I have my views on the matter you shouldn’t reply in a condescending manner suggesting I’m some sort of keyboard warrior.
Is your TH-cam open to comments? You take the pats on the back and you have to take the criticisms also.
This man committed a horrific act of unprovoked violence for a prolonged period of time. It is my belief someone who commits such a crime should not be given a platform. Some criminal acts are unforgivable.
Would you have a child sex offender on your platform claiming that they have changed?

Well done on what you both are doing. I’ll leave it that. My intention was not to get into a debate just to give some feedback on the episode.
      Best of luck lads 👍🏻
