When the macbook is asking for "PASSWORD" for minecraft, you are supposed to enter the "PASSCODE" that you use to log into your computer. Apple does this for another layer of security to make sure you actually want to have this file on your laptop and other things. Hope that helped. (ALSO, USE A DIFFERENT MOUSE AND KEYBOARD, then playing on mac will be a whole lot better/easier) 👍

And also, Apple's mouse wasn't designed for gaming. I use the mouse daily for video editing and for scrolling through webpages and it works just fine. I think official third party companies will have some gaming mice designed for Apple machines.

I am a Mac Player and you are right! There aren't many games on Mac.
But minecraft runs on my Mac mini M1 with 900 fps (on Flat world) and 300 fps (on normal world) 30 fps (with almost all shaders) and the rest of the games run Completely fine!
I have the mouse and Keyboard too but I don't use them 😐

@@BrookDude laptop touchpad, I do too, you can even play games like league on good fps and graphics, works fine. Sadly you can only play Fortnite chapter 2 season 3 due to a lawsuit between Epic and Apple

no its available, the thing is as well, Epic Games has the ability to update it to the latest version but they are refusing to do so, as they dont want people on Apple devices be able to play the current version. Sad. I have to say the chapter 2 version runs amazing, you get steady 60fps even on 4k resolution(m1) and I even got it to 200 almost perfectly on 1440p. Of course the monitor is only 60hz but when I play on 60fps capped it barely get warm.@@wolfik708

Yo vermax if you want to prevent those bars on the sides try to insure that your GeForce display resolution is on your MacBooks display resolution. Now I’m a windows guy so I’m not really a genius in the MacBook category but try looking through the settings and seeing if your display resolution is changeable. If you see what your MacBooks resolution is then change your GeForce resolution to the same thing. If the same error occurs you will need to change your MacBooks resolution but I doubt you still even use this MacBook so just thought you should know anyways😁.

I have an m1 Macbook Pro and I actually disagree. The apple silicon macs are very proficient for gaming, but the main issue is that it has no games. They're either 32-bit (which isn't officially supported anymore) or not on Mac at all :[
(Also using a good mouse helps :P)
off you have to get the games from safari and 32 bit means it is made for fps games and not graphic

when you need to put a security key for minecraft, thats literraly just your computer password you need to put in.
Get a M2 Mac Mini, It can help so much. It can get a max of 300fps on Fortnite and other games.
You should have used a gaming keyboard and mouse in order to get a better experience with your apple computer. Also the reason why gaming seems so limited is due to the fact that most games are developed in windows and use C#, but hopefully devs make games for macs in the future.
The Magic Keyboard is The best keyboard for gaming, because the keys are so easy to press, and it registers every time

Im on my Mac and I can normally play Minecraft, Roblox works fine too. Just get a normal mouse with two buttons and you can play so much better
use a puzzle mat of 10,000 pieces as a mouse pad
You can install windows and you can valo ,fortnite and many games
i use a mx master 3 and the mx keys they are so freaking good
