I started the Armored Core series on Last Raven. A friend of mine had it and let me borrow it. That was one hell of an introduction. Can't tell you how many times I've failed in this game just learning all of the mechanics.
you were not enough to stop me from fighting Bolt, but your tips and part recommendations made it really simple and it only took me 3 tries. The satisfaction is easily worth it for me
Pretty funny that I'm already using some of these parts. That means I'm on the right track. I'll definitely come back to this to try out those other weapons. These videos would be perfect if they could be edited down to 10 minutes
Yes, I sadly have no way to edit them XD, and this is for starter stuff, once you unlock more of the games parts theres a lot better weapons, but the frames fine minus changing to loris arms
Thanks for this! I'm a new player who's been taking a tour of the series before AC VI drops, and this was quite helpful for getting me off the ground in Last Raven
so, weapons have limited ammo 240/240 doesn't mean you have multiple magazines but you may have 12 magazines of 20 Some weapons like rifles and lasers rifles you can get extensions mags to carry a bit more. which can be used at any time as long as you don't over cap.
For that specific weapon pairing I would actually use Volute instead of Monju, since both the st/sp and sp/sp lockboxes are like 30-35% bigger. You do lose a bit of missile lockspeed though, takes 3sec instead of 2sec for first Spartoi lock to acquire.
@@Niji01 tbh, the reason it isn't volute is that most new players need the wider box for consistent lock time, a rectangle is easier to use since most AC's even don't fly too high, than the square one. as well as what you said for missiles, need 50% longer lock time and its not as wide even though area is bigger
it's awful It legit invalidates EVERY SINGLE light weight leg and 95% of mid weight legs when COUGAR2, the high load mid weight, is faster than every light weight, tied at worst with every mid weight and has amazing stats only other decent options are the dingo it's like how lorris arms, lemur arms, and lemur 2 arms make every other arm not matter lorris is a NX disc 2 part that is a heavy weight arm, with weight and energy of a midweight/light weight with defense of a heavy weight it's just dumb.
Just finished AC3 & silent line and now jumping into LR. The first few missions i got S rank on the 1st try and i got cocky. Then got stomped on my 1st AC fight. LR definitely plays different than the older games. This shit is frustrating af lol
So, the LAST RAVEN portable is broken on psp, all the games have a smaller lock box due to POV change, but due to how they redid hitboxes in LR normally, its like a 40% accuracy penalty on LR PSP, I reccomend higher ammo guns like Pixie 3, with a nice offhand that's Standard lock or WS, like a rifle, machine gun, pistol etc. and missile backs. Blades are not good in LR since they removed the tracking (mostly, its still there but almost useless, it actually is WORSE then if you didn't have it) I've actually been meaning to play the psp games, I might start this week actually.
@@deloreanmcfly3063 the LIC-10 is a fabulous back weapon, the only good EO torso is the gaea in LR. The issue is that LR is meant to be played after NX which did a major overhaul of the heat system, and IIRC the psp game being 30 fps instead of 60 really messed the heat system up
@@deloreanmcfly3063 The hanger comes out when you drop the other arm weapon, so if you drop the left arm weapon, you pick up the left hanger, some hanger make you stall for a second as its coming out. On the psp instead of having a drop button, it's some button combination : Camera Up/Camera Down/Strafe Left/Strafe Right, and fire what you want to drop
So when importing a save from Nine Breaker into Last Raven do you need to unlock anything in-game or can you just start a new game (converted from Nexus disc 2) and convert that to LR to have all possible parts available in LR?
If you convert from Nexus into NB you don't get anything unlocked, so you can softlock yourself if you go in without buying the shop and try to do NB. So you would have to buy the Nexus shop, I believe I mentioned this, the whole Nexus shop costs about 20 mil, can be power farmed from the massive MT in about 1-2 hours.
@@martincscheele NB has no shop, everything is unlocked by default besides NB new parts which unlock by progression Or a converted save only has what you had in NX and the unlocked parts as you go All parts from both games are available in some way in LR

Didn't really know how cooling was working in AC:LR but thanks to your video , I do know now and I guess I won't have to always tune for cooling.
yup, (booster heat =Calorific Value) * 2 is break even *in theory*, +400 from there is my pref but higher isn't bad

Master LR = Master Armored core serie
The way that I was expecting a completely different build from what I had but found pretty much the exact same build.
hey, if it works it works, that's the best part of AC, tons of options.
I have question: in my weapon's ammo indicate like this (240/240) and then i'm run out ammo (0/240), what button i need press to reload my weapon ?
