That’s a great question and for my personal case use I’d say yes. Legion Go if you want a higher resolution screen and don’t mind turning it down in super demanding titles but if portability is king I’d get the Ally it’s smaller all together and lighter. Both of them have similar battery life. I honestly would go Legion Go. If you want the most complete package of hardware crammed into one device. The Legion still lacks big time in software and I highly expect Lenovo to put out timely updates but even if they didn’t all of the software shortcomings are easily overcome with third party software. So after all that said yes I would recommend the Legion Go over the Asus Rog Ally.
I agree I remember having a ps vita trying to remote play the ps4 games with those little joysticks. Now we literally have handheld pcs capable of playing AAA on the go. That's not to mention how good the Z1 Extreme is at productivity task. I mean I've actually been considering getting rid of my desktop and getting an egpu setup and make the legion go my main pc..
Hi, i have a question, sorry for my english, i wanna play gendhin impact on legion go , but the controller and comands no working, how can i play with controller on legion go?thx
I don’t to be fair but I know I was using performance thermal profile and efficiency windows profile w.e. That’s supposed to mean. The overlay does not give power usage info but I am installing hwinfo64 and rivastatistics today and I’ll play again for the channel with performance overlay on screen.
Bro I need help. Would you recommend going for legion go or a gaming laptop? I don't want to buy a pc because half of my daily life is basically working and even when I'm home it's mostly just sleep. I just want some opinions, thanks.
Ok brother in my opinion I have both a gaming laptop and Legion Go. The Laptop for me is basically a portable desktop. I never play it mobile or even n my lap as it gets too hot. If you want true portability the Legion Go would be the best bet. Plus it also doubles as a light work station. I enjoy walking around my house while playing and is discord. It really depends on what you're trying to do with it. If you have any follow up questions feel free to comment again as I don't mind helping. Thanks friend.
@@2LoudTech I see, well the main reason is obviously gaming. Other than that I'm not too sure what to do with it because I can just use my phone whenever I want to use social media apps. If the legion go is the best option here, guess I'll just go for it. Thanks man.
@@2LoudTech Just some Fortnite and competitive fps games like Val, Cod etc. Perhaps maybe some AAA games too but I'll probably quit before I even play lol.
I play all of that and enjoy them on the Legion Go so if that’s your preference you will definitely enjoy it. Especially since you have options on you want to play. And the screen looks amazing. A major plus for me is the fact that you can remove the controllers and use the device as a windows tablet.
I have it’s a nice addition for sure and actually works not just some gimmick. I recorded a video using the Go in docked mode playing Fortnite in 2k 1440p not in fps but I’ll make one if your interested.
@@2LoudTech ur good man. It’s whoever made the Legion Go devices that at fault. I had a program to detect if there was any new things to update and it scan my device from their Lenovo website and nothing Had to look it up manually and do it myself which is not a good look for new and people who don’t game on pc
Make sure drivers are up to date. But I see somebody beat me to it. Also just to let you know Lenovo just released updated bios firmware on their website last week with 6gb vram option.

I can't get Fortnite to open, any tips

I have been enjoying this game on my gaming pc… I have a Go coming this week and hope FN plays decent on when I am travelling.
So did it live up to your expectations?
was it okay when travelling? i’m wondering because, i want one for the same reason.

What settings did you use to be able to use the joycon buttons as a laptop?they don't work for me :(
Can you tell me how you got the controllers to work properly I can’t scroll or look around with the joysticks or anything but on legion space I can
Do the controls work in other games? I know you said they are good in Legion Space but what about other games?

@@2LoudTech ok np, thanks for responding! I’m getting mine today so I’m hyoed
@@ultimatebreak827 so I’d assume you received it by now. What are your first impressions?
@@2LoudTech pretty good so far!
Do you ever feel the need to keep your legion go charging so that it works perfectly? Is there a noticeable difference when it’s not plugged in?
I actually don’t notice a big difference in performance between having it plugged and and not plugged in.
when its plugged in the device can do more & give you better fps since it doesn’t have to worry about conserving battery life
I want one so bad.
But the €800😭
I understand it’s definitely not a cheap device.

It's cheaper there than here.
So I tried playing this and i was having a very hard time controlling it. The rt joystick would cause it to react strangely
Have you tried calibrating the joystick’s in Legion Space?
No, I will try that
Are you having any issues with aim assist? I don’t think I can get it to work!
No not at all. I would assume you have checked your settings in game.
Can you share your controller settings?
Yes I’ll make a short video tomorrow
hello how do you activate the controllers?
My were active upon launching the game. Make sure you don't have them in fps mode.
