They're a prety handy tool so long as you accept their limitations... like I say in the video, they won't shift week old mud dried on like concrete, but they're brilliant for immediate post ride cleaning. In fact I used mine to wash the car the other day... wet it down, sprayed cheap Muc-Off all over it, washmitted it and rinsed it off. Took all of 10 mins lol
Bought one of these last summer, just had chance to use it after 11 months sat in shed. Well very impressed for a portable device. Not enough power to clean, don't get me wrong, however enough for a good rinse before and after wash Just washed a twin wheeled caravan, coachman laser 645. Filled it 4 times before battery went flat. Great for me not having any mains water at storage site.
Exactly that... so long as you accept and account for their limitations, they're good for what they are. Still wouldn't pay full price for one, but you can usually find them on sale somewhere :)
Did you find that it leaks. I put mine in the boot of the car to take for a ride and it fell over and pissed water everywhere. Couldn’t get the cap any tighter so not sure why mine leaks.
I've never had mine fall over as I usually wedge it in the car so it can't fall over. The cap has a valve to let air in as it empties, so I can imagine the cap wouldn't be completely watertight.
Hard to say... I've had mine over a year and it's still holding a charge just fine. That said, it doesn't get used constantly... think I've only charged it maybe 4 or 5 times since I had it, but each charge is enough to do multiple bikes... it generally runs out of water several times before the battery gives out :)
@@AndyHill Thanks for replying. That's probably how often I would use it. Need something like this for occasionally cleaning a muddy mountain bike, as I live in a flat. My other choice is one of those sprayers you pressurise by hand.
The hand-pump type sprayers are a lot cheaper, but in my experience they just don't have the oomph to shift anything more substantial than dry trail dust.
Wiggle. Was a few years back, think I paid about £80 for it on sale back then. They have them for sale at the moment for £105: www.wiggle.co.uk/mobi-v-17-portable-bike-pressure-washer
This is excellent. I don’t want want so much power as to strip out the bearings.
My son bought one and we used it at a very muddy 6 hour enduro race.It needed more water but I was well inpressed

Thanks for mentioning, this was a question of mine. Wonder if the v15 is any different? Less likely to fall over looking at it.
Impressive. I wonder how long the battery lasts before it needs replacing.
