Thank you so much. I’m trying to get a 1981 Coleman Colonial into good enough shape to take out for US Independence Day weekend and this has been great!
Great video,we have an old coleman popup that got a tear in it when we went to take it down from a week hunting trip.lll have to get me some canvas material and sew it back in.thanks for the video and good camping to you!!
dont know if you will see this but I could use some advice on this project. can I just leave the torn bit still attached? also I have some canvas but it's not enough continuous for one full window, I could sew two pieces together and have a seam down the middle but is there a problem with that with waterproofability? I'm not a total sewing novice but wouldn't consider myself intermediate though
This is incredible! Thank you for passing on your knowledge and reminding us that we don’t have to produce factory results!
Thank you so much for this! You have given me the confidence to try this myself. Very much appreciated!!!
This is what I've been looking for ! Thank you

Yeah..however it will work best for you...just make sure to waterproof the repair...hope it works out great for you.
Yeah you can do that...just waterproof well
Just curious.... it looks like you used the canvas straight from Joann's, without washing it first... did you have any problems with shrinkage?
No problems
Try using fishing line instead of thread.
It might be a good idea for a thicker canvas.. I did mine with thread and waterproofed....been 5 years now.
