The rabbit is carrying the blanket by the corner…kinda like a toddler will drag around a security blanket. I’m glad someone finally adopted that poor Laura, she was spamming the inter webs with her cute self.😂 I also bought a DOTW Expo doll that I fell in love with in the Facebook group.🙄 He arrived today.🤦🏻♀️
YES!!! I loved that Laura... she definitely was doing a lot of spamming all over social medias!!!! I know she's happy she sold her. I did love her at the doll show but I didn't want to walk away spending way too much.... lol... it caught up to me later, though!
Munchies in the box!! That is supposed to be the top of the bunny's blankie...it is holding it between it's paws, even though the blankie is it's body also...lol If you are like most people, you won't be able to stop buying new dolls, I find the best method is to sell a doll to buy a new doll. Then you really have to think, do you like the new baby MORE than the ones you have? If so, then you are selling a doll you really didn't like as much as you thought, so that is a good thing!! Simone... Yep! I didn't realize, the crackers were the remainder of a back order or something from my previously shipped Walmart order... Thank you for telling me about the bunny's blanket. I didn't understand when I got the bunny. You raise a good point about buying babies. Keeping them to a minimum and actually thinking about what babies are meant more than others. This hobby is a struggle sometimes. I am trying to declutter and approach it a bit differently so that I could enjoy it more. I look around at my babies, all the time, to see which ones I'd like to adopt off to someone else. Heh! Thank you so much for always commenting some valuable words! @@ItalianPrimaDonna also, it's OK to regret buying a doll, we all do it...best to sell it if that ever happens. I have had customs that didn't turn out as I saw in my mind and I rehomed. I now won't do a custom unless I see a doll and ask for the exact same (or as close to that as possible) from that same artist so I know how it will turn out. I have to see a doll in person to be 100%...in photos they can look bigger or smaller than you envision. So many reasons for us to make mistakes!! We have to forgive the mistake and move on. You should never have a doll you don't love in your collection because there will always be new sculpts coming out to tempt you and you want room for that...or having only dolls you love may make you be able to say no to them...anyway, this is the goal I am working towards and I find it helps me. The part on the bunny lovely I believe was meant to be the corner of a blanket. I have made out of beads I had and alphabet beads from the dollar store personalized bracelets for my dolls so I can remember their names. I only change my reborn for different holidays or weather. Violet is in her 4th of July outfit still. I have a dress I crocheted out of white irridescent thread that I put on her in August as it is the hottest month here in TX. Working on such outfits for my two new dolls. Working on Halloween outfits for them. I have sleepers for off months. My big find was a Halloween Peanuts sleeper for 30 cents brand new at a department store. I believe I am going to use it on my doll with 1/4 limbs.
That's a good deal on the Peanuts sleeper!!!! You are so creative to make items for your dolls. I would like to make bracelets for mine. If I did that, I'd have to make it a one afternoon activity and buy just what I need. I'm trying to clean house and get rid of a lot of my stuff. Sometimes it's nice to clean out what you don't use or touch!
You know what? Yes! My problem is I have a whole library of books I need to catch up on! Maybe instead of having my eyes looking at babies, I need to look at my books! LOL.
