The Jag was my pick at motor ex it was just stunning for a driver After watching the rest of the video Howard you can see how popular the car building industry now is All the cars are just next level I remember going to shows back in the seventies and most were built at home in a shed by the guy and he did it all I recon a lot of people still want to do that but time and space is the issue But also what is available today to use I am amazed at what is happening today and what people can produce 👍👍👍
It's great to hear that the Jaguar caught your eye at MotorEx! The craftsmanship and design of these cars can be truly stunning, and it's wonderful to see the car building industry thriving and producing such incredible vehicles.
I believe the Porche (Areo) that you showed had a 3 cylinder radial motor in that has been developed here in Australia if I'm not wrong you can see the stand up cylinder of one of the cylinder barrels when you show it it was featured in a Manx buggy on Jay Lenos garage recently good old AUSSIE KNOW HOW 👍💪❤
Talking to hot rod owner he showed me inside his garage & the hot rods were ok But the 1934 Ford Model 40 B Fordor Deluxe Bonnie & Clyde fame it was awsome perfect condition as found in a usa barn glad i stopped to say hello 1 hr L8tr wow geewiz i took a few pics he also knew another hotrod friend across the river the bloke bought it off a facebook car sales who became ill & just wanted his stuff sold was $80k 2 week l8tr take it for $60k Sold went to melb and got it asap :) a beautiful car as you see it he said i only wased & polished it was found as is under tarps perfect condition 1 front light is $1,500 a front grill $about $5k sheez you'd be scared to take it on the road . cheers vic somewhere near a river & mountain
Great footage Howard , but I am a bit lost as to what a Hot Rod is or maybe identifies as? Some beautiful work and some awesome over restored cars but maybe I am getting old, I didn't know hilux's n corolla's n sigma's were hot rods and plastic bumpers?? Don't mean to offend, just a bit lost guys.
The four door convertible is a Lincoln Continental convertible with power everything and hard to restore. And Dahll you were right about Kennedy, he was shot in 63, in a special extended convertible, and cost him his life. Johnson had the car rebuilt but with a steel roof added where there used to be the convertible . And all future Peesidenttial cars were all enclosed there after.
What do you think of what Chip Foose did with a 73 Jaguar at SEMA a few years back? As, l thought it looked like he had Ferrari'sed it . Better a big strong Pole, than a bad Czech lol
Enjoyed 👍👍

33rstr really hit the colour

Thanks for the great footage and commentary Howard and Dale. I may be wrong but I think the Green 39 Sloper had what looked like a Toyota 1UZ engine

Great work, as always. The four door LJ reminded me of the maroon four door LJ that won the 5th Street Machine Nationals...

Chip has a style all his own.
Nice camera work. But all this commentary with often very minimal mention of makes, models, years?
Hi, I'm doing the best I can with what information I have. As it is each video would have 15 Hours invested to get them up.
