@@jerrygottwald2997 That's not a real solution imo, no one will be using that CE on Cnoc unless she's only going to be supporting, and in that case most supports that exist are a better party slot than her. Literally "I was made for new players that started the game right now" kind of servant.
The NP also fits her lore with the old Queen Mab of the King Clan in LB6. Cnoc's power is based on her followers and the city of Edinburgh. Queen Mab transformed her body into the city of Edinburgh, where she gathered power from its residents. From that gathered power, she poured all of it into creating her successor, Cnoc na Riabh. Also remember how successors in Faerie Britain also look alike to their predecessor. Note on the skill seal, she's arts so you will run her with castoria anyways so with the battery append unlocked on one of the castorias you can get a castoria np on turn 1 with all the batteries(30+30+30+starting 10) and just use her np to cleanse it anyways
Hahahahahaha. You just wasted the whole point of getting skill sealed lol. You lose the 50% attack buff. All you get is a 30% battery, which is not really enough to justify slotting her
She's nice, but her np is the only part of her kit that isn't rng dependent. I would consider her way better if she had hard defense to pair up with her np since that would make her an interesting option for solos.
She might have some solo potential against certain Berserkers due to the sheer amount of spammable healing, though she’ll need to finish the fight within the first 8-10 turns most likely
The skill seal thing is kinda interesting for downtime. When you've got 3 turns before your skills come back up anyways it kinda just makes you stronger version of yourself until then. Edit: Holy shit I never realized skill seal blocks your cooldowns too Could be nice for NP nukes though with Castoria comps. Like AOE nuke on the first NP, then Cnoc NP, then Castoria NP for 3 shields and cleansing the debuff so your skills still go back on cooldown and you get that 1t 50% attack buff
IIRC, the 50% Atk also turns off once the My Fairy Soldier trait is cleansed, or if it doesn't lands. The icon is darkened, like Tonelico's Charisma stacks. Edit: Yup, cleansing the Skill Seal also turns off the Atk and Def buffs. It's even more devastating if you cleanse it before Skill 1 where the 30% NP battery for all My Fairy Soldier is available.
I always love when FGO making kit who have big reference on lore even if it's not meta n just too gimmicky It's much better to remember or played in funny way, than overshadowed by trend
@@thegamerfe8751 that's exactly the reason why I don't like Barghest second skill. Thanks to the "lore", she only gets a 30% battery from her skill and it's on a 7 turn cooldown. Okay, let's say we follow the lore completely. Why can't she have another stack of np strength up, if she is fielded with low rarity units( like her first skill, since she needs to be stronger to protect the "weak"). Or for that matter, since her third skill gives her the super giant trait, why can't she have max hp up from using her np like the og, if you have the super giant trait? Fuck lore accuracy, this is just fucking with the servant kits by this point.

The issue comes down to competition, for a new player she's not that bad but for anyone who didn't start the game today most supports are a better option than her.
@@thegamerfe8751 I won't deny there are better supports in general, Castoria being the most obvious comparison, but it seems kind of ridiculous to expect every player to have all or most of the top tier supports. Cnoc makes for a pretty good stand in with 20% np, 50% attack and 30% charge. If anything, the only things holding her back from being amazing is not being a 50% charger and having the skill seal. For a free 4* she's pretty solid as a 3-turn support and actually is pretty comparable to castoria in terms of damage steroids (better than Waver in that regard).
Isn't it great that her third skill doesn't affect castorias, at least you can run her with basatoria and get full value. Oh wait, basatoria has magic res B, so her skill 2 has a 17.5% chance of whiffing. How many servants can she actually work with without it being extremely jank.
Hey, just look at all the copium comments there. All you need to do is field 2 Avengers with high level of Avenger passive or putting a record holder on her. You know, teeny tiny adjustments. You need to make more adjustments for her than your main dps lol. It still wouldn't guarantee her skill seal from landing with units like space isthar who has like 40% innate resistance.
Or y'know, understand that in a double castoria setup the only point of the castoria cards is to arts chain for bonus np. Lol This is really only a demerit in CQ content.
Ehhh no, she really is mid, literally her only saving grace is that she's a free NP5, if not for that she would be the worst foreigner in the game. Her main gimmick locks the team's kit while giving a measly 50% attack, 30% defence and 30% NP which many characters can get through their skills without a demerit (i.e there's no reason there should be a demerit especially in freaking 2023), even AoE buffs, and if a character resists the debuff (which is likely, most servants have magic resistance passive) or cleanses it later the buffs are gone which is really bad. Imo with a heavy demerit like this she should be giving more than what imperial privilege can give for free with no demerit, we have so many ways to guarantee the buffs without changing the team. And even then, the attack up should be a rainbow buff, if it were that I would have considered it worth the demerit, but again, Chiron can give a 30% rainbow buff without a demerit so to compete, Cnoc has to give a 50% rainbow up for three turns, then her demerit will make sense. There are welfares like the summer Valkyries and Iyo that exist, saying that a welfare can't be this good is not a valid counterargument. In all honesty Myst, you were being quite biased, realistically, only a person who has just started the game will be using her even against berserkers, that's probably why she cleanses debuffs and heals, so that she cannot die without a support since said new players won't have one for a while.
I would say she’s better than regular Abby at the very least (though the two are trying to do very different things). The main downside of Cnoc’s kit is the inherent inconsistency and hurting slower teams, but there are some potential teams that solves these issues and the sheer magnitude of her buffs makes trying to patch these worth it. Having several avengers in the back can lower the party’s overall debuff resistance, you could potentially use an ally’s offensive np prior to a cleansing one in a boss scenario, and Castoria just seems like a really good option to pair with her that can help patch up the team after Cnoc cripples them.
I feel like you’re comparing her to much to a meta 5 stars with her kit. In foreigners she definitely out classes Hokusai, Both Abby’s and maybe even Voyager since they’re all incredibly scruffed units. Even among 4 stars or lower theirs no one that can do what she can supporting wise, she literally 1 of 4 servants in the entire game that has a 30% ally/aoe battery. Her Support is crazy I don’t know how you think Aoe 50% ATK is messily when most 5 stars don’t even have it that high unless it’s gimped like Kintokis 2 turn one. Plus she has 20% np damage up aoe , aoe defence down 20% plus a 30% battery aoe all for a price of a 3 turn skill seal down it’s insane for farm comps that need more damage. Compared to 4 star supports she’s ahead by a large margin for example Chiron only has a 30% rainbow and 40% crit while is good you can see the difference in their usefulness. As for welfare comparison Iyo overall is a super solid unit in both farming and bosses, as for Valks they only excel in Farming normal waves I believe, since their kit is prettyeh and in this 90++ irregular waves the Valks have little use. Overall she a super solid support for farming I wouldn’t class her a a budget support cause skills are really great for farming.
@@JustUtterlyWhy888You can take the 20% defence down off the equation. That can't be used for the final wave since it blocks the arts np of the main dps too. When you have to adjust so much to make one unit work, that's not a good unit. Her only real value is for min turns and even then, she isn't that reliable at it
