Swann can also do it, though it isn't medivacs. Maybe it's just a CoOp Easter egg then. Haven't tried it with Reynor though. Don't play that commander as much. Love me some Goliath's ;)

What about the stupid concept of "Bandit Orbitals"? You aim for a longer game with whatever plan may work, on your way there you try to hide some orbitals that float over to stripmine some of your oponents base locations with a bunch of mules before they come into play and win with your hidden extra income. :D
BGMWSS: Two-Hour Game (or one hour if two hours is too excessive) When you play a ladder game, the game duration must be at least two hours. If you surrender or get eliminated beforehand, you lose. If your opponent surrenders or gets eliminated beforehand, you lose. Battlecruisers particularly feel weird to build... They are gas heavy but only for total cost.... 50 gas per supply is right in the average gas price for units... But BC's take forever to build and to save the initial gas cost stagnates that even further so you feel like you have infinite minerals... But nah you just got stagnant production.....
I love the jump into a recall, which is essentially falling into a trap, but BC power through. I always find terrans insane for not building more BC. Now imagine having 1-2 ghost with 6+ BC against stalkers lol

Idea: Play as the illusionist. build a lot of centuries and send wrong information to your opponent. The whole plan is to make your opponent build the wrong counter to units that ended up being illusions
So what would be the counter to BCs in PvT if it's not blink stalkers nor counter attacking ASAP ? turtle to tempests ? Cause in my low league, I got BCs one time out of 3 in PvT...
Here's my assesment of all the BC games I've seen Vs protoss - basically no counter. They say voidray but yamato+jump says otherwise. They say Tempest, and kind of if you have a really good other force, otherwise it's once again Yamato+Jump. Or jump ontop of the tempest and they die. Stalkers meh, but still yamato is going to kill a bunch before the fight starts, and this ignores support like ghost (half hp gone) and raven/anti-armor (+60% dps to BC) Vs - Zerg, they are quite weak to corruptors but can still jump away. The wosrt BC matchup. also semi vulnerable to infestor, viper., but ghost-BC is unbeatable barring a operator blunder. The only ghost weakness is mass ling, which bc covers nicely. vs terran - weak to viking, but still got yamato/jump to out trade if the game stretches out long enough. They can't attack into a base if you build turrets. Of course they can always die to mismanagement.
BC but with ghosts. vs Protoss build the bc first then add ghost, vs zerg get ghosts first then add BC. vs terran do BC/Turret + something for marines, tank maybe, or mine. Sit on top of mines with BC so they can't be targetted.

Not sure if it's been done yet, but this humble subscriber requests you try to double gas steal and continue to gas steal whenever possible in beating grandmasters with stupid stuff.
Idea for next BGWSS: you must have at least one of each unit in your army (including workers, overlords) before you attack your opponent. If you lose all of one type of unit in your army, you must retreat and remake the lost unit before you attack again. You can defend normally.
Sounds great while theorycrafting, in practice a raven doesn't have teleport and you want to avoid full on army vs army fights anyway, while AAM can also get microed against with stalker and blinkdodged. It would be very good if you're fighting head on, but as you can see here, for most of the game that would have meant losing.
@@henningbreede6428 feels like there were a couple instances where even if they blinked away, it could have been used to zone or stop the stalker pursuit, or used after a blink to prevent dodging. he had the resources, supply, and building infrastructure to spare to just squeeze a raven or two out without any problem, so not like its a huge risk.
Just wall off against the noobs who canon rush every single game. It is so obvious, that someone who is playing a canon rush and loses against you, will continue canon rushing in the next match. Especially when he just got queued with you again.

you are probably better off just practicing basic builds and macro, coaching is to point out your weak points so you can work on them, at silver you only have faults so there's nothing to point out.
@@luyties I'm silver league, but I'm at 2.8k MMR, and a correct macro is a given at that level. I already know basic build orders for each matchups, common cheases, I don't float minerals, etc.
I believe I corrected you last time you said "Most people who leave the casino don't have more money than when they came in." In fact many casinos use a strategy so that most people who leave do have more money than they came in with, and yet the casino still makes money. That might sound idiotic at first glance, but think about it a little. It's not magic.

Ruff plays bc's a lot. There are a couple of things. First is that teleport is used for escaping, not for jumping in. Second, one should rush upgrades, because they are very crucial for BC's. Finally, there are some very basic micro tricks. I believe, BC"s outrange stalkers. Even if they do not, one should try to fly in the dead zone such that only few stalkers can reach BC's. In this way one can fight stalkers very efficiently. Another trick is that it is useful to clump BC's to a single point. Then it is hard for the opponent to attack the one which is low on health.
BC and Stalker both have 6 range, why the hell do you give advice to a pro player when that is your knowledge base. Why do you even give advice based on Ruffs skill level.
At pro level, every BC opener involves jumping in then flying out. Its only later in the match where flybys involve jumping out. _Never_ rush armory upgrades... watch the armory timings of pros.

In case you didn't know, this means that I do not know for sure, but I did not bother to check, since this does not matter for the following. Harstem is a protoss pro player. His terran level is about the same as that of Ruff. Besides that the mmr that Ruff has is gained with weird strategies, which are not favoured in current meta. So he gets it being disadvantaged. Yet on top of that, many of his strategies are based on battlecruisers. So, I fully respect Harstem as a pro protoss player, but, I believe, Ruff has more expertise in dealing with mass BC's. The reason why I wrote this is that having watched how Ruff deals with BC's, some things that Harstem did were painful to watch. For example, he did not exploit the dead areas much and the fact that air units can clump into a point. In this way you can make all your BC's accessible only to few stalkers, instead of flying over stalkers and loosing all BC's. The other thing was not having tp to save BC's. All this may seem totally elementary, but Harstem did not do it right. Though, towards the end he learned some of these things (not surprisingly)

IMO marines and battle cruisers work great together with medivacs, BCs are kinda the airborne tanks while marines have crazy dps.

Ruff plays bc's a lot. There are a couple of things. First is that teleport is used for escaping, not for jumping in. Second, one should rush upgrades, because they are very crucial for BC's. Finally, there are some very basic micro tricks. I believe, BC"s outrange stalkers. Even if they do not, one should try to fly in the dead zone such that only few stalkers can reach BC's. In this way one can fight stalkers very efficiently. Another trick is that it is useful to clump BC's to a single point. Then it is hard for the opponent to attack the one which is low on health.

BC and Stalker both have 6 range, why the hell do you give advice to a pro player when that is your knowledge base. Why do you even give advice based on Ruffs skill level.

At pro level, every BC opener involves jumping in then flying out. Its only later in the match where flybys involve jumping out. _Never_ rush armory upgrades... watch the armory timings of pros.

Harstem is a protoss pro player. His terran level is about the same as that of Ruff. Besides that the mmr that Ruff has is gained with weird strategies, which are not favoured in current meta. So he gets it being disadvantaged. Yet on top of that, many of his strategies are based on battlecruisers. So, I fully respect Harstem as a pro protoss player, but, I believe, Ruff has more expertise in dealing with mass BC's.
The reason why I wrote this is that having watched how Ruff deals with BC's, some things that Harstem did were painful to watch. For example, he did not exploit the dead areas much and the fact that air units can clump into a point. In this way you can make all your BC's accessible only to few stalkers, instead of flying over stalkers and loosing all BC's. The other thing was not having tp to save BC's. All this may seem totally elementary, but Harstem did not do it right. Though, towards the end he learned some of these things (not surprisingly)
I’d rather watch a shorter video of you winning than a longer one of you losing.
BC is too overtuned...the Carrier should be better than it.
