I used to joke about trying to convince y’all to sell but the more y’all put into it, the more they could never be sold. These are so good. So fantastic. Well done!
You guys have really jumped through to an entirely different dimension with these builds they are looking so amazing and you all have really gone so far you can’t turn back now you have to keep going and give it all to em now don’t hold back, these builds are something to write home about for sure.keep up the great work you guys are throwing out thank you sirs
I am blown away with the results of what you and Josh have accomplished with the class 1. Watching the progress you two have made has been a highlight for me as far as yubtub prescriptions go. Makes me sad that there are only a few weeks left. Though I am sure you are relieved to have the end in sight! Keep it up! You're almost done!
I have built one "scale" truck, well its almost finished. After all that I went through to get a mostly off the shelf scale rig built I have all the more respect for what you are able to create. From out of nothing you have made a thing, a cool thing, a thing that a lot of people would want for themselves. Kudos for these builds they are already awesome and they are not even finished yet!
Amazing builds, both look so good. Thanks for the inspiration to do some work on my projects. And I just saw Manitou has a 3rd gen 4runner body, so now need to get that and build it!
The design and ingenuity that went into the C1 build is mind blowing! I like that it's not perfect, just reinforces the fact that it's a custom build. A bit concerned about that whale tail and rear section held in with magnets and losing them during a roll over? As nice as the C1 is I'm loving the C2! That Volvo body and overall look of the build just does it for me! Too bad you guys have had to sacrifice time on the C2 and C3 but looking forward to seeing everything finished up 👍
Great looking builds. Windows safty mesh is a light weight solution. I like hard bodies on my crawlers and use plastic mesh. In your case, you can have it printed neat.
That Porker is awesome hats off to both of you for pulling that together! Just waiting now for one of the big RC names to copy erm I mean be inspired to release and RTR version! Nice job can't wait to see its running video!
It’s been cool watching the two of you bring the Porsches into the models they are now. Nice designs throughout. The Volvo is quite the design too. Thank you for sharing.
I bet you could use some little button magnets and a simple accessory like nerf bars or a trim piece to cover up those body screws on the side of class 2.
These builds you and Josh are putting together are elevating to artwork! If you feel bad about scratching the Por-chahh body, I'd like to see you and Josh revisit these with new concourse bodies without the time crunch!
#SafetyGlasses4YoLife! Yet another "Top Notch" production from SBG! Thank you for your time dedicated to the hobby, and the time it takes to produce such a well done videos. Thank you to your wife and family for granting you the time to entertain us! We are chuffed! I am usually waiting in the wings for your next video to drop. You creations are next level! You have inspired me to create more things by hand and focus more time on the art of the hobby. I have gone back and watched many of your videos multiple times, not necessarily because I needed to reference something that was said, but more often than not, I am simply captivated by the excellence of the production itself. I am always keen to pickup on the "whimsy" that you capture in each video, and thank you for the Whimsy! The levity is great! Currently my nephew and I are halfway through our "4 weeks of Mayhem", and are now both building up Traxxas 4-tec Roadsters, over the course of 4 weeks, each working within a budget as well. Please keep up the good work sir! You are a pinnacle of our hobby, and are well respected by many including myself. 💯
Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a positive comment! I'm glad that you like the videos and find inspiration and instruction. That's so cool that you and your nephew are doing your own 4 weeks of Mayhem, I bet you're having a blast! Ps, I think my wife likes having me out of her hair so she can watch Real Housewives of whatever city 😂.
Both you and Josh are incredible fabricators and complement each others style. This class 1 done in styrene would make an interesting retail kit. Good luck at the event, but in my mind you are both winners already.
That 911 blows my mind! I want one so bad 👍…. Love the Volvo too and I think the tail lights would look pretty good mounted behind the rear window glass?! Would also mean that they can’t get broken off 🙄
I’d like to make the trip out there just to see the 911 in person… it looks more amazing every video 👍🏻 The new wing looks so much better then the mesh and the interior is crazy 🔥 Josh is a freaking master of his craft for sure…
You two are inspiring dude!! I’m struggling to get my first real ‘comp’ rig built for RMRC and your over here turning raw materials into a Porsche… I can’t wait to get my pic taken with them cars
Man both of your Rigs look AWESOME! It would be hard for me to pick which is my favorite one. I like seeing what you build and I also get good tips to help me on my Rigs. Thanks for putting out awesome content for us! 🤙🏼
Both rigs look great. I think when everything is over with, you should get another wall mount and hang😊 the Porsche on the same wall as the Bomber and move the SBG logo in between them.
They are both looking so awesome. No one cares about class 3 hahahahaha. They volvo is awesome. Really turned out great. The interior will be spot on. The 911........ It's just so awesome. You both are doing awesome. Yes Josh gets more if the credit hahaha. He did an amazing job designing that. Can't wait to see how it all goes on the rocks. #gocanada
Excellent episode Matt! Seeing these two builds near completion is a pretty rich sight. While the detail and engineering in the overall build of the Porsche undoubtedly show-stopping, your Volvo looks wicked-cool. Totally badaas to be sure. Here's to hoping you get clean runs and not THE runs comping that Porsche! 🍻
Matt both trucks/cars look great considering the time line. I'd like to see this (odd request) next time. Pick the event, comp in one class only, allow plenty of time to build/test/drive the vehicle. The idea being to limit the stress and give ample time to focus all your attention on your talent's without rushing anything/no excesses. Unrealistic? Maybe so but its something I'd like to see you guys pull off. Just a thought, cheers!!!
Rootin' for Team Red Moose! The five-legged variety ofcourse. Is your AI animal now officially of the 'unimoose' family ? 😄 Perhaps HD can help you out with a C3 or maybe KPOP RC can help you out with the last-minute, quoting here, "fabricobble". Thank you very much for the update, good luck with the final build stretch before heading off to the highly-anticipated comp. Also, maybe you can do a SGG logo for choice to the merch but I could be getting ahead of myself here, just a tad. Cheers 👍
It would be sick if you ended up using the furitek system and used their Tesla display screen😳. You could put it in the dash and it would show your rpm’s🔥
That is a really cool idea for the paint job. I was wondering how you were going to do that without completely covering the carbon fiber pattern. Makes me think of how Ferrari painted the F40. Its body was carbon fiber, but the paint was actually very thin in order to save weight allowing the carbon fiber to show through.
The 'Moose is looking good! As a thought, with the thickness of the body-shell, could you counter-sink the body mount screw holes and use flush head bolts instead - they would look less obvious?
@@scalebuildersguild but on a serious note. this carbonfiberbody you got going, so damn cool. In later years i’ve migrated more over to rwd drifting, but when you’ve first caught the scalerealismsyndrom you bring it with you no matter where you go in the hobby😅
The Sugga is so nice 🇸🇪😃🏁. I do not remember was it a print file that you can buy or was it something you made? Looking forward for next episode. Regards from Sweden. 🇸🇪 😃 🇸🇪
It started off as a file from CGTTrader and was then further modified by Josh. Thanks for watching, and I really want to get to Sweden one day. Fredrik Backman is one of our favourite authors!
Since I didn't actually mention it before, yes please more "Videos with Safety Glasses". Maybe a whole series would be a good start, or I guess minimally a youtube play list for "Videos with Safety Glasses"..... Also yes, I have watched this video a number of times.
I'm so proud of myself just cutting out a body and masking off windows. Your stuff blows my mind 🤯😂
I know the feeling 😂
Right? Like I've built some "custom" stuff but nothing even close to these trucks. I wish I had a 3d printer, that's for sure.
@@joker111092 and a Josh to design things to print on it 🙏
We all have to start somewhere!
It's definitely helpful to have the help of an engineer!
I saw your Red Moose tee shirt and I just had to have it! Thank you so much for making that a

Thanks!
Those are looking really cool. In my very humble opinion the cage for class 2 would look awesome painted to match the bumpers.
That volvo looks great and tires are so cool as well
Porsche turned out amazing Matt. Amazing work.
Thank you!
Killer! I agree on the windows. The windshield, especially, must be weathered with wiper swipe areas. BAM!
A transcontinental Porsche pair. Chuffing awesome fellas.
That Porsche is one of the best looking RCs I think I have ever seen! I can't wait to see it finished!
Thank you! I'm pretty chuffed with it myself!
The continued digging through the trash was the best laugh I’ve had today!!!😂😂😂 Awesome looking rigs! Keep up the great work!
Glad you liked it!
Amazing to see it go from an idea to physical car👍👍
Best part of the video is 14:05-14:55😁

Outstanding work!
The Porsche is looking amazing, sir. Can't wait see it in action. Hope we can get a sneak peek run video before the comps. Have a great day.

Class 2 and 3 are cool but I love the class 911.
All 4 wd Porsche 911 were identified by having the red reflector going completely across the back... awesome build btw...

I think for the class 2 tail light, I would just put a brake light, maybe a small bar, in the back window.
Open the trunk!
It would be sick if you ended up using the furitek system and used their Tesla display screen😳. You could put it in the dash and it would show your rpm’s🔥

No switch! 😂 You'll need to put on sunglasses.

I think it would look cool with the Targa style bar over the drivers seats. You know, like a 911 Targa.
