My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Cumberland Falls!!! We were married on June 8, 1991, 30 years and counting!!!! So awesome that you guys got to experience a little bit of my home state!!!
I really, really love you guys for making these long explanatory videos. I would rather watch an hour long TH-cam video produced by you guys than anything else on TV right now. Crystal, I'm sure I speak for many when I say we cannot get enough of your commentary and your opinions. Thank you to Derek for promoting small business. Love, love, love this channel. And I won't even go there with all the tears I shed watching all the births before I got to the show playlist. 😊
I guess ya didn't show a goat at this show. Derrick did a great job talking to all of the vendors and those who had a goat in the show. That was huge judging shows Wow! Take care and safe travels home!
hello im susan from louisville ky right down the road from where you are the ky state fair starts the 19th love too see all the people and animals glad your here
Hope to get to Nationals some day ♥️ the blonde female judge at the beginning was one of our judges for our Spring Fling show this year in central FL. She was great 😄
that poor guy at Chickadee Farms shouldnt put himself down like that when he said that seeing his wife/girlfriend doing better than him, he should be proud that he did well too! 💛
Sweet! Thanks for sharing 2021 ADGA Nationals! Huge classes, beautiful goats, interesting people, booths with lots of creative stuff we are all drooling over!
There were so many beautiful goats. Some of those poor ladies were so full they looked like they could hardly walk. I bet they were happy when milking time came around. You guys stay safe. Peace.
This is crazy how many does there are. Good to talk to breeders, if you wanted to buy a doe or buck next year. Cool place to connect with other breeders
I just wish that the sound quality was better so we could actually hear the judge’s comments. I showed Suffolk sheep and it’s nice to hear what the judge has to say
This makes me want to go to a goat show now. We’ve never been. The hubby retires in two years and this might be a good idea of how to enjoy our retirement…lol. Thanks for sharing! Looks so fun!!.
Wow! Makes me wonder if they follow the "Crystal" way of breeding, by pulling the babies off mama after 2 days to get the milk and "friendly" up those babies! Yours are the best! This was very exciting to watch! How do you get picked to become a Judge? Is that something you or Derek has ever considered?
. There is a lot of training that goes into becoming a judge. This website touches on it. adga.org/adga-judges-online-training-materials/ And this one, americangoatsociety.com/judges-training.php I thought there was a degree to be earned but I cant find evidence for that. Hopefully Crystal can answer better.
Thank you so much for sharing this event with us!!! I know you had hours and hours to edit but the end result was so neat!!!! I apologize if you have addressed this already but what is the protocol to making it to the nationals? It would be awesome if you videoed the explanation. I have only ever experienced a goat show by way of your videos!!! Stay safe!!!
Crystal @BlueCactusDairyGoats can you do a video on what a good udder looks like or point me to one you’ve done? I’ve skimmed through your videos and can’t seem to find one, but I’ve seen other say their goats have great udders that seriously look like yours after they are dried up. Then at the shows some are bulging out past their bodies and some are not. I was just wondering which is best and which attachments are best
Shameless plug for your awesome, heavy weight tshirts: At timestamp 5:17, you are sitting at the table. What color is the orange'ish color down in front? What color is the one at your left elbow? Can't wait to order a couple more, I love the goats on the front, but these are really nice tshirts! PS, love the video!
Maybeline is prettier than any of those goats. Of course I don't know anything about them. Just started watching you a month ago. How did you like KY? It's a beautiful state and I wouldn't live anywhere else.
Are the goats left in milked to make their udders more pronounced? Seems like some of the does we’re having some difficulty walking with such huge udders. I really enjoyed this video, so many beautiful does, it must be such a hard decision for the judges to make.
Hey Crystal I have a quick question about the national shows. I am unsure if you would be able to answer this but do you know if they allow dairy wethers in the showmanship ring? I was doing a little bit of research online and apparently they have showmanship in the nationals but I am uncertain if they would allow wethers. Thanks
HECK YEAHHHH A VIDEO FROM BLUE CACTUS
Wow makes me homesick. I miss Kentucky
Bet Crystal was in heaven there and a bit of hell not having her goats there😁
Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
Spot on! 🤣

I love this video! I see so many of my friends farms!!! Thanks for sharing Crystal and Derek!!!
My senior yearling grabbed Ann’s shirt. She would not let go either.
Didn't envy the judges, there a lot of beautiful goats there.
Can't believe how I love goats now. Last year I just thought they were strange, with their rectangular pupils. Just adorable now! Thanks Crystal
Lol! They're the best!
Goats are the best!

I think they said over 600 total

So awesome! Thanks so much for sharing this. One day I hope to attend a national show.
Some proud goat owners!
That was awesome!! Thank you for that! It'll be y'all one day!
I love the gray 3yr old doe with black trim number 5 she's just so catchy to me. I'm so pleased with the turn out it's awesome for sure.
I really enjoyed watching the show. Thank you.
Loved the show, especially the emotions at the end!!! Hug Festival!
You guys did a great job on this video! Love the interviews and how you explain what's going on in the ring.
Guess I’m going to have to go check out a goat show in person! Loving this!
I wish you were moving to green Oregon!
Hello from Texas

This makes me want to go to a goat show now. We’ve never been. The hubby retires in two years and this might be a good idea of how to enjoy our retirement…lol. Thanks for sharing! Looks so fun!!.
The last judge was a talker!!
The intro was great, I've watched three more times
I grew up in Louisville most of my life before I moved🤯😂.

Most show breeders do pull babies early. You have to go through a training to be a judge and I do intend to be one some day ;)

As long as you have an ADGA registered goat, you can enter them in the National show.
💜💜💜💜
Wow, just wow
Crystal, do you ever feel that some judges seem to like certain colored Does more than others? Thanks for sharing these road trips, guys!
Not colors per say. That would be a no no move for a judge. I have noticed they may prefer certain body types over others though.
really enjoyed the video folks have been looking forward to it..now if i remember right you liked mini nubians did you get to see any at the nationals
The mini goats aren't registered through ADGA so none at this show. Minis are when a Nigerian dwarf and a standard size goat is bred to make a mini.
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats oh ok i see but you still got to see a huge number of lovely goats and people
Crystal y familia como están? No hay noticias de ustedes, todo está bien!! Ya son 4 semanas que no sabemos nada de ustedes, sean muy bendecidos

Do goat shows have a GOAT ? Very cool video...thanks YT

Will you be going to the 2022 national show? Because if so I can’t wait to meet you 😊
Wow large groups i don't know how they do it
wow that looks serious

Will you be at show tmw?
Where are the those cute Damascus goats?
How far are you from KY
What are the goats with the small ears???? And when are you moving???
They are called LaMancha goats and we want to move somewhere with greener pastures
LaManchas. Proud lamancha breeder
Maybeline is prettier than any of those goats. Of course I don't know anything about them. Just started watching you a month ago. How did you like KY? It's a beautiful state and I wouldn't live anywhere else.
KY really is beautiful!
Are the goats left in milked to make their udders more pronounced? Seems like some of the does we’re having some difficulty walking with such huge udders.
I really enjoyed this video, so many beautiful does, it must be such a hard decision for the judges to make.
The day before the show, they have to be milked out and someone goes around to check and make sure they are.
Hey Crystal I have a quick question about the national shows. I am unsure if you would be able to answer this but do you know if they allow dairy wethers in the showmanship ring? they did not bring any (this time!).
None this year
