Ah, at last. My favorite song of all time. It's almost like everyone's forgotten this song, I can't find the notes or the lyrics. They didn't even play it at the concert. And it's so damn beautiful.

Amazing Song ❤ "Illusions" is completely different in style in most ways. Personally I think with "Sun" Thomas changed. Not that he makes bad music, it's still amazing, but "Illusions" is a unique piece of art. The number of different vocalists on this album alone is impressive. I think with "Sun" he introduced some kind of Mainstream style (for himself) that he still uses today. There are some pieces like "Immortal" or "Age of Gods" that sound like his standard formula (which is still amazing), but 80-90% of this album is unique. Which is why I love it so much. But maybe it's just Nostalgia 😊

Thomas is one of the few musicians who experiment in all genres and successfully. I like "Illusions" & :Sun" and they are very close to my heart 🥰 because there is also a part of my homeland Bulgaria in them.

I don't understand what you mean by "mainstream", Sun is uplifting and fast-paced overall, with heavy Bulgarian vocal elements, which is meant to be a different vibe from Illusions. Illusions is unique indeed but TB's recent works are musically more complex and diverse.
