Fist of the Northstar: Ken's Rage 2 - Jagi boss fight

Just wanted to showcase one of my favorite animes/video games/characters from Fist of the Northstar. This is pretty much just the first cutscene and boss fight against Jagi. Enjoy!

Hokuto No Ken was made in the early 80s.
Design wise Kenshiro is based off Max Rockatanski (Mad Max), Bruce Lee and Sylvester Stallone.
The whole post apocolyptic aesthetic is also Mad Max inspired.
Indeed a Brilliant Series. Wish Jagi had more screen time.

Ken's Rage 2 was a letdown. They watered down the combat, and although the game covers more of the manga, most of it's consigned to boring still-frames. Might as well read the manga.

I found the combat to be a lot more fast paced and fun despite lacking variety. The manga panel thing while it’s low budget, these games aren’t exactly triple A titles.
