I remember my daughter's Sweet 16 like it was yesterday. She's 32 now, so it was literally half her lifetime ago! We lived in Worcester at the time, and I rented out the pool area of the (now defunct) Sheraton Lincoln hotel. We hired a DJ, and I had a small playlist of songs that were important to her. As each guest entered, they had their photo taken with Taylor, and I set up a mobile photo printer to make favors. We had the pool filled with floating candles and gardenias. We had 16 votive candles on the cake table, and Taylor said a little something about 16 people who had been influential to her in her lifetime. Then she danced with her three grandfathers to 16 Candles. It was a great night! We rented a suite for some of the girls to stay in overnight, for a "Suite 16". We all had brunch in the morning. My younger sons still refer to this as Taylor's Fancy Birthday Party. I was a wedding and event planner in my former Mass life!
You did such a great job on making your house look so wonderful. It fills my heart with joy when I see how much thought and love you put into it for your daughter's special day. Everyone clearly had a wonderful time. What a great mum you are! x

My favorite thing to do on Wednesday mornings, after school drop off for my kiddos, is watching new Charlotte Grove Farmhouse videos!! So calming, inspiring, and motivating to get over this hump day. ❤

This is so cute! Happy 16th Birthday to your daughter. When my daughter turned 16, I had a blast decorating with touches of gold and Calla Lily flowers (her favorite). I did a candy bar with all gold wrapped candy, set up a selfie area and they had pizza, snackes etc. That was her request. Time flies, she turns 23 on Valentines Day.
