Saw The primitives open for the Sugarcubes at the old California Theatre in downtown SD in '92. Got to meet them at Blue Meanie records in El Cajon before the show. Had tickets to see them when they played in SD quite a few years ago but ended up not being able to make it down from Norther California, still gutted about it. Such a good band.
@@danjones3176 I remember Blue Meanie Records fondly! Was there once in summer of 1985 during a two week stay in Carlsbad. Nice, friendly staff, I recall. Hit up as many cool record stores in San Diego/North San Diego Co.as possible and scored some really sweet vinyl in the process. Listened to nothing but 91 X FM and attended a Kinks concert at SDSU (a band called Cock Robin opened the show, btw). All in all, a great little vacation..
Wonderful, Great song from a band that ALWAYS produces wonderful songs and just as good now as they were in 1986. Tracy always the Greatest. Well Done.
Great retro sound. I must express disappointment with the UK though. I was under the impression that, after her majesty's passing, that Tracy would be the next monarch.
Borrowing what Jerry Garcia said about the Grateful Dead: The Primitives are like licorice -- it's not for everyone, but people who like licorice REALLY like it!
Hooray for Tracey!!
LOVELY...Black country also still loves The Primitives XXXXXXXXXXXX
Excellent song and a clever video.
LOVE from Richmond, Virginia
God Bless you Primitives, with all the bad news in the world, finally something good, uplifting and brillant! San Diego loves the Primitives!

I don't know where to start with my praise for this song
Pop perfection, actually, pop magic. If I were to dream up a backing soundtrack to a dreamy version of my life, it would be all Prims.
Sounds like The Primitives with Inspiral Carpets keyboard player. Excellent, authentic sound !
Catchy, enegetic tune, which shows the band still have the touch when it comes to belting out new material.
Yay! Great song! Ordered a 7" too
Bought the vinyl straight away. Classic Primitives.
Uplifting - I have always loved The Primitives! They make me want to dance. This song is great!
this is so good, it's like popping lovely into the tape deck or the walkman all over again!!!
Great Track!, cracking hook and melody!
I love them. So happy they are back!

Ye 1st time hearing it, a cracking track, was it from an album as can't see it on Wiki?
Just researched and found out it's a recent record so her voice still sounds really good.
Great retro sound.
