Headcanon Sozen outlawed same sex relation because he might have had feelings for Roku and at least some of his harshness is a result of him distancing himself from that part. Not calling it a ship but that is my thought process.
That is actually a reasonable headcanon. Though I really enjoy seeing two males being just good friends without being shipped by the people, this one actually makes sense. I mean, why not? It is plausible that he was bitter since Roku loved someone else lol. And when you rule a country, you can basically ban anything for personal reasons.
@@gizemgonenc5342 Quite weird somehow. But admittedly I can get behind this headcanon. Sozin not only destroyed other nations, he was also very self-destructive. He banned dancing, including fire nation dances, he ordered the deaths of dragons, the original firebenders, he destroyed part of the very fire nation's culture and so. Sozin himself rather than feeling great and prosperous became a paranoid regretful wreck at the end of his life for his decitions. So given his closeness to Roku and how his feelings for him were deep and then replaced with utter regret, he banning same-sex marriage could be another showcase of Sozin making his own personal problems turn into everybody else's problems as well.. Not to mention, royals have to leave descendents to inherit the throne, we never learn about her wife or how her relationship was with her, so there's some plausibility he only date her for political reasons.
Another foreshadowing is how he kept them from falling but after thinking about it for a second decided to left him “fall” just how came to help Rioku but ten decided to let him die

i wish we had info on the past fire lords before sozin
It would be absolutely amazing if you could do a video on each of of the specialized bending techniques! It would be great if you explain the combustion power and why it comes out of that birthmark looking spot on their head
Sozin might've outlawed same sex relationships because he was secretly gay for Roku and frustrated that he could not have him
conspiracy theory
His videos that are for ATLA are litterly my way of asmr
it's sad that roku and sozin's friendship had to end,if roku never found out he was the avatar then he and sozin would still be brothers
Great video man!
It would be cool if you make a video about Fire Lord Azulon
Literally here at 6 seconds so first I guess
Nope iam first

Hi! I'm a huge fan of ur vids, could you possibly do a video on the life or Tigress Snow? Thank you!
I was just about to watch legends of Korra
I just started it I'm on the second episode
@@tomtinkersrezlife278 me too wanna rave
Hi love these videos keep on posting
Given the final words of his diary, it’s not hard to imagine Sozin being regretful on his deathbed.
He was like alaxander the great kind of
Reasons[
1.He built safe and secure roads
And I only have one reason😐Shit
He exbanded his nation and gave his people more land
@@user-qi6tp1te1y thank you for backing me up

i love you movieflame i love your vids
Awesome video as always!
Day 1 of asking of a series where u do the life of the protagonist
You need to do the life of Aang. I understand that the whole show is about Aang but there is still things that need expanding.
Great Video ❤️ You should also do a video explaining Katara’s life
Keep this coming I'm enjoying it so much
Even though this video is so verbatim to the series, I like how you added onto the information with your own input. Good work.
MovieFlame is the Firelord of quality videos
Avatar is easily my favorite show and you made it better
Headcanon
Sozen outlawed same sex relation because he might have had feelings for Roku and at least some of his harshness is a result of him distancing himself from that part.
@@gizemgonenc5342 exactly
Sorry but *no*
@@gizemgonenc5342
Quite weird somehow.
Thank you I have been wanting this

MY FINGERS: I AM SPEED

Another foreshadowing is how he kept them from falling but after thinking about it for a second decided to left him “fall” just how came to help Rioku but ten decided to let him die

My favorite Avatar Video is:
The Life Of Ursa.
Sometimes I’m talking about shows and stuff like that then I get a notification from movie flame and the video is about what I was just talking about...
Does our Lord stalk us?
Count Dooku voice: “I’ve been looking forward to this!”
movie flame when are you gonna make life video of anakin skywalker, mace windu or yoda
Would you consider making a video on the Lion Turtles?
Sozin definitely sounds like an imperial person. He grew a hunger for power and mixed it with prosperity.
Stalin? No.
Hitler? No.
Kahn? Maybe.
Other ruler similarities? Maybe.
Unique? Yes.
However, I wonder if any of us question if we have something similar to Sozin in mind at random times...
Can u make a video about who u think uncle Iroh‘s wife was
So did Sozin legitimately come to help Roku with the volcano? Roku was definitely getting overwhelmed before Sozin showed up. It seems like he came to help, but realized that Roku was in his way after Roku was poisoned.
I have a question, when professor quirrell had voldemort on him, did it say on the marauders map that quirrell and voldemort in the same body?
I wonder
The firebending used by sozin during the volcano i.e.converting fire into steam, was never reused in the avatar series
No real reason for it
Can you do a video about Kai from Legend of Korra? He's a great character, and it would be a really good video.
Loved the video man I was wondering if you could do a hunger games video on muttations like you did for magical creatures in Harry Potter but for hunger games
And technology would also be a good idea
